Cambridge, MD Indian Wedding by PTaufiq Photography

Aisha & Meet’s Chesapeake celebration is the kind of weekend that makes you believe in wedding magic—and in good logistics. From the first dramatic portrait of our bride glowing beneath a scarlet veil to the last twirl on a cloud-kissed dance floor, every moment felt intentional, elegant, and full of personality.  PTaufiq Photography captured it all with their signature cinematic flair—think editorial close-ups, sweeping group shots, and dockside silhouettes that say “just married” and “cover ready” at the same time.

The day unfolded at the waterfront Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay, a venue that seems purpose-built for South Asian weddings. A boardwalk for those movie-moment first looks? Check. Expansive outdoor spaces for a grand mandap and a sea of loved ones? Absolutely. The baraat burst onto the scene with sunglasses, swagger, and serious dhol energy before settling into a ceremony framed by sky, water, and florals. Aisha’s classic red bridal look was perfection against Meet’s ivory sherwani—the kind of timeless palette that never goes out of style, just like their smiles.

Enter the dream team of Platinum Guide members, whobrought the “wow” factor and then some. Aria Events ran point on a multi-event timeline with the calm of a seasoned air-traffic controller—sangeet to ceremony to reception, every transition was seamless and guest-friendly. Nirali Decor layered romance with precision: a fresh, airy ceremony design blooming with soft whites and pastels, sculptural aisles, and a regal reception stage that married modern silhouettes with opulent texture. Their ceremony florals looked as if the garden itself had decided to join the guest list. And when it was time to turn the party dial to “legendary,” M4U Events delivered a no-skip soundtrack that kept the floor packed all night. DJ Vik Patel read the room like a novel, and MC Kunal kept the energy high with effortless hype and pitch-perfect pacing.

Makeup by Galina gave Aisha a luminous, camera-ready glow that held from pre-ceremony emotions to reception toasts. My Henna by Rashida crafted intricate mehndi that told its own love story, petal by petal. Topoff Customs added personality to the paper suite—clean lines and stylish typography that set the tone long before the first outfit change. Pagg Pros handled turban tying with tailored precision, ensuring each wrap looked sharp from baraat to vidai. And when guests finally sat down, Moghul Catering delivered the flavor fireworks: a celebratory feast that had everyone debating whether it was appropriate to ask for the recipe. By the time the newlyweds shared their first dance “on the clouds,” the reception room had transformed into a dream—yes, that ethereal fog effect makes every dip look like a movie still.

We can’t stop checking the images. This is a love story that became a classic—and Maryland briefly stood for Mandap Dreamland.

Philadelphia, PA Indian Wedding by Joel Zar Photography

When Chand & Amish decided to tie the knot in the heart of Philadelphia, they knew they wanted their wedding to be more than just an event—they wanted it to be an experience that left guests in awe. And let’s just say, mission accomplished. Their love story unfolded across stunning settings, lavish décor, and unforgettable moments, all perfectly captured through the lens of Joel Zar Photography, whose artistry brought every emotion and every detail to life. From the radiant smiles of the couple to the grandeur of the mandap, each frame felt like a page from a modern-day fairytale.

The Loews Philadelphia Hotel served as the backdrop for the entire celebration—ceremony, reception, and sangeet—cementing its reputation as one of the city’s premier venues. As a Maharani Weddings Certified Venue, it brought a polished sophistication to every event, seamlessly blending luxury with cultural tradition. With soaring ballrooms and chic interiors, the hotel transformed into a canvas for romance, laughter, and a few happy tears (ok, maybe more than a few). Guests couldn’t stop gushing about the convenience of hosting multiple events in one breathtaking location, which meant more time for dancing and less time for navigating Philly traffic. Win-win.

No South Asian wedding is complete without jaw-dropping décor, and Abhishek Decorators made sure every corner sparkled with elegance. From vibrant floral arrangements to the intricate mandap, the atmosphere was nothing short of regal. When paired with the planning expertise of Tum Hi Ho Events, who orchestrated the weekend like true maestros, every detail—from the timing of the baraat to the flow of the reception—was flawless.

The bride, Chand, glowed with timeless beauty thanks to Cinderella Bridez, whose hair and makeup artistry enhanced her natural elegance without ever overpowering it. Guests couldn’t stop complimenting her radiant look, which lasted from the first ritual to the last dance. Speaking of energy, MVP DJs kept the crowd moving all night long. Their beats ensured the dance floor was never empty. And of course, a feast fit for royalty was provided by Moghul Catering, delighting everyone with authentic flavors that had guests going back for seconds—and thirds.

For Chand & Amish, the day was more than rituals and receptions—it was about celebrating their union surrounded by the people they love most, wrapped in beauty, joy, and the kind of laughter that echoes in memories forever. Head over to the full gallery to witness all the stunning moments from this Philadelphia celebration.

San Diego, CA Indian Wedding by Vellora Weddings

Let’s take a moment to soak in the magic of Aarti & Akash’s wedding in the heart of San Diego, where tradition met modern flair in a kaleidoscope of colors and celebration. Hosted at the stunning Sheraton San Diego Resort, the multi-day festivities unfolded against a breathtaking backdrop of waterfront views and luxurious spaces, setting the perfect stage for this grand affair. From the serene marina dotted with yachts to the lush greenery of the hotel grounds, the Sheraton provided an enchanting blend of elegance and natural beauty. The versatile ballrooms transformed effortlessly from intimate ceremonies to lively receptions, while the scenic marina walkways offered dreamy photo ops that felt straight out of a Bollywood movie.

From the Pithi & Cocktail night to the dazzling reception, Aarti’s bridal looks were a showstopper. She wore exquisite ensembles by Mymoledro, Mahima Mahajan, Liz Paul, Varun Bahl, and ISA by Dolly Wahal, each radiating elegance and intricate embroidery that sparkled under the glow of NFP Events lighting and draping. Akash, of course, matched her vibe with impeccable style, donning custom designs by Majestic Mango Events. Majestic Mango Events and Hello Kismet worked their magic, planning and designing immersive experiences for every event.

DJ Ruckiss brought down the house! His beats had everyone from grandma to the flower girl twirling on the dance floor. And DJ Amin on the dhol? Let’s say the beats were so infectious that even the non-dancers found themselves in the middle of the crowd, shaking it like nobody was watching. We’d be remiss not to mention the delicious cuisine by Pankaj Catering—mouthwatering bites that fueled all the fun. And for the bride’s radiant glow, credit goes to Dolled Up by Lulu, Brides by Roupak, Itty Glam, Love P Beauty, and Modern Luxx Beauty, who turned Aarti into the queen she is.

Samson Productions played a starring role in bringing the magic of Aarti & Akash’s wedding to life. From the shimmering lights to the crystal-clear sound, Samson’s team worked their wizardry to ensure every moment was as memorable as the couple themselves. Their lighting design transformed the Sheraton’s grand ballroom into a vibrant wonderland, adding an ethereal glow that matched the couple’s radiance. And let’s not forget their top-notch AV production—every toast, every beat, and every tearful speech was flawlessly amplified and crystal clear. With their expertise, the entire celebration felt like a seamless concert of love and joy, ensuring the dance floor was always alive, and the couple’s vision truly shone.

Of course, the incredible cinematography and photography by Vellora Weddings captured every stolen glance, every warm embrace, and every sparkle of those Vintage Snob bangles. Vellora’s team has a gift for storytelling—each frame was a visual poem, immortalizing Aarti & Akash’s laughter, tears, and tender exchanges in a dreamy, cinematic style. From the ethereal glow of the candlelit reception to the vibrant energy of the sangeet, they didn’t miss a beat. Their keen eye for detail transformed fleeting moments into timeless memories, creating a wedding album as breathtaking as the events themselves. Do not miss the gallery!

Orlando, FL Indian Wedding by Love Like Wild LLC

If fairy tales were written in the language of vibrant lehengas, heartwarming traditions, and a dance floor that saw more energy than a Bollywood blockbuster, Prita & Vishal's wedding would be the ultimate best-seller. Hosted in the heart of Orlando, FL, this multi-day Indian celebration blended regal elegance with the warmth of cherished traditions, all set against the opulent backdrop of The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. With its sprawling estate, lush green landscapes, and impeccable service, this venue perfectly blended luxury and cultural grandeur. Every corner of the Ritz was transformed into a breathtaking scene, from the ethereal outdoor ceremony setup to the grand ballroom reception, proving once again why it remains a top choice for couples seeking an unparalleled wedding experience.

A wedding like this deserved to be immortalized in every dazzling frame, and Love Like Wild LLC did just that. From Prita's breathtaking bridal portraits to the groom's grand baraat entrance (cue the dhols and the ultimate hype squad), each image is a testament to the day's magic. Their lens didn't just capture moments; it bottled emotions, energy, and the love that radiated from every corner of the celebration.

The wedding was flawlessly orchestrated by Rae Nicole Events, ensuring every detail, from the floral archways to the luxurious seating, reflected the couple's vision. Every guest left with their hearts full, their feet sore from dancing, and their camera rolls flooded with snapshots of the most unforgettable wedding weekend.

Before their grand Hindu wedding, Prita & Vishal honored their roots with a traditional Sikh ceremony at the Sikh Society of Central Florida. This intimate yet deeply spiritual affair left everyone in awe. And because one magical venue wasn't enough, the couple's wedding soiree took place at the stunning Shah Residence, where the golden glow of candlelight, the richness of red and gold florals, and a glamorous stage created a scene straight out of a royal celebration.

Prita's bridal look was nothing short of spectacular. Adorned in an exquisitely embroidered lehenga, she looked like she had walked straight out of a Sabyasachi campaign. Her A Touch of Fierce glam squad ensured her hair, makeup, and bridal glow were nothing less than perfection. And let's not forget the artistry of Amrita Henna, who adorned Prita's hands with intricate mehndi designs that told their love story in swirls and paisleys.

If anyone knows how to make an entrance, it's Vishal. Rolling up with his energetic baraat led by Awaaz Entertainment, the groom smiled (and made a few dance moves) as he made his way to his bride. The night continued with an epic reception with jaw-dropping décor by Simply the Best Creations, a dreamy sweetheart stage, and a candlelit ambiance that exuded pure romance. The dance floor? It was electric. And when Vishal twirled Prita in her dazzling gold reception ensemble, it was a moment straight out of a Bollywood climax.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I was at his house one day and randomly stumbled upon a book he had called "Loving Someone with Anxiety" and immediately started to cry. I do struggle with anxiety and the fact that someone was willing to love me and accept my anxiety and figure out how to be better for me truly touched my heart. I was very used to hearing that my anxiety was something I had to fix and 'get rid of' so the fact that he truly loved me - for me - was amazing!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
He did a great job with the proposal. I own a condo on a beautiful lake. That lake is my favorite place in the world and it has a peaceful dock. At the time of the proposal, I had rented it out. Vish somehow got a hold of the tenant and convinced him to lie to me, sending me a text that a break-in had occurred at the condo. We were on our way to dinner to meet friends, so we had to make a u-turn and go to the condo. Once at the condo, I couldn't find the tenant. Everything outside the condo looked fine and normal. I got very worried the robber had kidnapped my tenant and was holding him hostage in my condo. As my freakout worsened, Vish told me to calm down, and that we should go to the lake and wait for the police there. Calm down is the worst thing you can say to someone who's freaking out! So I decided to try to open the door and that's when he pulled me back and said that today was not the day I would be superwoman, that this was way too dangerous and we needed to back off. He literally dragged me to the lake while I screamed and cursed him out. I couldn't understand how he didn't think this was a serious situation! Internally, I started doubting how I could love such an insensitive person. I must have figured everything wrong about him! As we got to the dock, I noticed a bouquet of flowers on the bench and then I realized what was about to happen. Vish had to set up this wild story because he knew there was no way he'd be able to get me to my favorite place in the world without me suspecting anything. He got down on one knee while a photographer hid in a nearby boat and captured the moment. It was incredibly sweet and romantic! He then took me to dinner, where we were supposed to meet our friend and when we got there, I saw that all my friends and family were there, waiting to celebrate us!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
It was a dream come true wedding at our local Gurdwara for the Sikh Ceremony, at our family's house for the Mehndi night and at the Ritz for the Hindu Ceremony and dinner reception. It was a perfect mix of a local home vibe mixed with an out of this world romantic glamour vibe.

The customer service at the Ritz was above and beyond. Chef Jayshree has her own signature Indian fusion dishes, and she's based locally in Orlando. She caters to all the Indian weddings at Ritz hotels across the country, and we were so lucky to have her do our reception food. It was delicious and a nice break from all the other Indian food we'd been eating at all the other events - while also still being Indian enough for those who love their traditional Indian meals! The atmosphere at the Ritz was also incredible. It was impeccable!

My hair and makeup team were the dream team, and were able to change over my looks, from top to bottom, with just 30 minutes to do so between looks. They were able to incorporate my vision while also gently encouraging me to take some risks that made my looks completely unique. My Sikh ceremony look was traditional, while for Mehndi night they turned me into a modern Barbie doll! My Hindu ceremony look was epic, they turned me into a royal queen, and for my reception look, turned down the drama into a soft and romantic gold shimmery Belle look. I didn't have to ask to change anything; all my hair and makeup lasted throughout every event, and the best part was that I still looked like me at the end of the day!

My photographer was incredible and was always there for me. Anytime I needed them for a photo, they were there. They understood my vision and went above and beyond to make sure they captured the shots I wanted. They had snacks on hand in case we needed anything as well and also handled our guests with such grace. I'll never forget how at the Gurdwara, all I wanted was a break. Our photographer pulled us away from our guests, tucked us into a study room, gave us water, and had us stay there for 5 minutes so we could get a breather - all while telling our guests we would be right back. I didn't have to ask for this, they could just tell and simply knew. They really went above and beyond to make sure we had a super special day and that they captured that day too.

Our theme was England Garden, and everything was very beautiful and natural with a lot of browns, greens and red-red roses. It wasn't a big over the top wedding, it was intimate and romantic. The one thing we wanted every guest to feel was loved, and I really think that's what was experienced.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I really like traditions. I love celebrating them and creating my own! We had a Sikh ceremony at the Gurdwara, and I wore bright red. For the Mehndi, I wanted to go completely against tradition and wore white with pastels and mirrors. The Hindu ceremony outfit was my favorite and was a deeper red and green. To change things up, I did two dupattas, with a green one on my head. I love how that look turned out. It was a great mix of traditional and modern. For reception, I was all gold! I had a lot of fun with my hair and makeup team changing up the looks to match each outfit. For the Hindu ceremony, my makeup artist wanted my look to be a bit more edgy, and she used dark green eyeliner in my waterline. I like taking fun risks like that. I think everything turned out beautifully!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Doing it with my husband by my side. We were both equally involved, and I felt so grateful for his support! This truly was both of our weddings :)

Oh - and the food tasting was awesome! The team at the Ritz really made sure we enjoyed everything and left with very full bellies! As we left, I took a deep breath, taking in the incredible scent they had flowing through the Ritz. I said, "I wish my house smelled like this." Moments later, their event coordinator came out with gift bags for me, my mom, and my mother-in-law. We all got candles of the Ritz scent so we could burn them at home! They made us feel so special!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Everyone knows that the only thing guests care about is food, booze, and music, haha! I will say though that our guests also had a great time. Everything was very well planned and we got a lot of compliments on the timelines of each event (it wasn't Indian Standard) as well as how little time was wasted. There were a lot of breaks and time for people to chill out and relax between events. The mandate photos went smoothly, and we captured everyone in under 30 minutes! Our wedding planner did a great job planning each second out!

I think the guests could tell how much my husband and I loved each other during the events as well. Our love for each other came out in different ways - from the wedding and reception entrances to the speeches. The speeches were so heartfelt, even I was moved to tears. I also wrote a song for my husband and sang it for him at the reception. That was his and everyone else's first time hearing it, so that was very special.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
We aren't dancers, so every time we practiced our first dance, we were making mistakes. It got to a point where we said it was ok if we made a mistake during the actual performance because we just couldn't manage to nail it. When it was showtime, somehow, we actually did the whole dance without any mistakes! We just looked at each other in disbelief and felt so accomplished at the end of the performance! It was like we had just won a gold medal together! Best moment ever!

My husband is Hindu and I am Sikh. A special memory that comes to my mind is how all the men in his family got their Pugries tied for our Sikh Ceremony. I felt so loved and appreciated that wanted to celebrate our customs with us and didn't shy away from it. Also, Vishal's cousin Ami did something very special for me. My Naniji is 90 years old and is bedridden. She couldn't attend any of the festivities. When we were doing Mehndi at home for the family, Ami took one of the cones and put mehndi on my Naniji's hands so that she could also be a part of the wedding celebrations. It really moved my heart that his family did all this for me and my family. I felt so loved!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
Our friends and family put together a great 5-minute Punjabi/Gujarati dance mashup. The best part was the end when everyone joined flashmob style! It was great to see my coworkers absolutely killing it on the dancefloor and dancing to Bollywood!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
You have to really tune out the outside voices and do what is best for you. You're never going to make everyone happy, and someone will always feel left out, someone will always find the food too cold or spicy and someone will always think you did something wrong and now your marriage will be cursed.

Everything happens very fast, so make sure you take moments to enjoy your partner and plan in moments to have some time just the two of you. Remember - this is just one day. Don't sweat the small stuff and put all that energy into your relationship and make sure it is healthy and nourishing. That is much more important than any wedding detail.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)

Tampa, FL Indian Wedding by Andrew Do Photography

Picture this: a serene garden at the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel, softly touched by the morning sun. Our dashing groom, Rohan, in a perfectly tailored creamy suit, stood patiently with his back to the pathway, hands fidgeting ever so slightly, a mix of excitement and nerves. Enter Jaimini, radiant in a white lehenga from Kynah—simple, elegant, and a perfect departure from the traditional red. Her jewelry, a mix of heirloom pieces and red-stoned bangles from her mother-in-law, added a personal touch to her look.

Cue the slow music—Jaimini’s entrance song, Jag Ghoomeya from Sultan, set the perfect tone. As she approached, Rohan looked over his shoulder, his eyes widened in astonishment, and—like any true romantic—he let out a happy little "Wow." The audience couldn't help but swoon, and honestly, who could blame them? It was a first look that felt straight out of a movie, with Andrew Do Photography masterfully captured every emotion and moment, turning their love story into a visual masterpiece. His ability to blend candid, emotional shots with perfectly timed moments made the day feel like it was plucked from a dream. Kudos to Big Guava Events for orchestrating this beautifully. From the well choreographed first look to the flawlessly timed reception transitions, they ensured everything unfolded without a hitch.

Fast-forward to the evening reception, where Jaimini & Rohan brought the wow factor back in full swing. The ballroom was draped in ethereal floral arrangements by Utopian Events, resembling an enchanted garden with golden hues and romantic candlelight. The acrylic Mandap, draped in spectacular flowers, was not only a breathtaking ceremony centerpiece but later transformed into the  Awaaz Entertainment backdrop for the reception. They had every guest on their feet, clapping along to a thumping Bollywood beat. We're convinced even the chandeliers were dancing!

The night ended under a canopy of twinkling fairy lights, with guests holding sparklers high as Jaimini & Rohan exited. There were tears (of joy), laughs, and many "aww" moments. As they walked hand in hand toward their next chapter. We loved every bit of this enchanting wedding, the personal moments that made Jaimini & Rohan's day truly theirs. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met just before the pandemic hit in the fall of 2019. Needless to say, during the onset of the lockdown, our dating experience was probably unlike most other couples. Without restaurants to go to, movies to watch, or places to visit, we had to skip all the small talk and instead dive right into loaded conversations and really get to know one another. And it turns out that was the best thing that could have happened.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We had decided to get dressed for a would-be dinner in the city but diverted to an unfinished high-rise building when he wanted to “check it out”. He knew the concierge’s name which tipped me off that something was up. He let us up the elevator to a massive rooftop space that overlooked the city just before the sunset. Seeing the camera crew at the edge of the balcony, my heart began beating rapidly knowing that something was coming. He said some beautiful words that, admittedly, are hard to remember given the rush of emotions and adrenaline at the time but moved me to tears. He knelt down on one knee and I couldn’t say yes fast enough.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Needing to plan a wedding in 5 months while working full-time, I had to use my weekends wisely. Unlike most South Asian brides, I was unable to go to India for the traditional shopping experience for any of my outfits. I scoured what online resources and stores were available and found my wedding and reception outfits from KYNAH. I went to their store in LA with my maid of honor and it was an incredible experience. Also, having a smaller guest count made every part of the wedding feel more intimate and special. It also made the spaces we chose easier to personalize with more details for decorating. I loved my hair and makeup experience with C Minerva’s Looks. We had a wonderful experience with her for my sister’s wedding, and I knew I had to have her do mine. Caroline did a phenomenal job of creating what I had envisioned - very elegant and natural. The color palate we were able to use worked perfectly for my dream Spring wedding. I went with purple shades, focusing on lavender. The Mandap was acrylic with a spectacular flower draping, giving everyone a great view while also being every bit as classy and timeless as I wanted. We kept the Mandap for the reception, turning it into the DJs backdrop. We focused more on the atmosphere for the guests and really worked on the music playlist, selecting songs that were special to us and fun for everyone across all ages. And of course, we made sure that the food and drinks were to everyone’s tastes as best as we could while also getting our favorites. Taking the time to add those little extra touches resulted in a wedding beyond my wildest imagination and a party that everyone is still talking about.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
For my wedding, I didn't want anything red, just simple and elegant. As soon as this lehenga premiered on KYNAH, I fell in love. I loved the detailed, soft work while also being effortlessly classy. For my reception, I wanted to be different and not do another lehenga; instead, I chose something I could wear again. I picked an outfit that was glamorous and just the right shade of green. Substituting a dupatta for the cape gave me the ability to dress it down while still maintaining the lustrous essence of the original design.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Despite the time crunch, working with Rohan was a dream. Every aspect was collaborative, and our parents were always on the same page as us and completely supportive of every choice we made while also, thankfully, not trying to make decisions for us. Our wedding planner, Rima, took care of so many logistics and ensured that everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be there, and knew what needed to be done. Overall, getting to see all the details come together on our collaboration board was the most enjoyable part for me.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
I think our attention to detail really stood out. Everything ran exactly on time despite some wedding day issues. When we needed to make little adjustments on the day of, we were able to do so without disrupting any of our guests. We also made sure that we could take care of anything they needed personally. Luckily, we didn't have any issues on that front. And, of course, the highlight was just the incredible party we had on our reception night. All of our friends and family knew the music and were able to sing along and dance throughout the celebration.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Getting to walk down the aisle was truly memorable. Having all the people in my life that I love bear witness to such a special occasion really just hit me all at once during that walk. It was the culmination of not just work for the wedding, but also building a relationship with someone that means everything to me. A close second would be when my elderly grandparents made the effort to have a surprise moment during the dance performances on the night of the Sangeet. They stole the show.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
We were able to have camera and film crews for the events that we held separately, like the Haldi ceremony. Andrew Do Photography absolutely did a masterful job in capturing ever moment of every event with stunning photos. Having all the planning work taken care of in advance and organizing spreadsheet after spreadsheet with down-to-the-minute instructions really made everyone's life easier. Especially when it came to the dances, everyone knew what to do and where to go for practices, lessons, and changes. We picked the songs that we loved, and my family and friends did the rest beautifully. It helps that they are all naturally gifted dancers. For the haldi we went with a traditional yellow themed decor scheme that brought out the great and messy result on my skin.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Do as much detailed planning as you can for yourself. Think about when to wake up each day and how much time it takes to get ready, and try and squeeze a bit of extra time for any contingencies that may be necessary. Also, have a couple of people that you can absolutely rely on for any last-minute outfit adjustments or coffee runs you may need. Trust in your planning, carry an emergency bag for touchups, and finally make sure you focus on enjoying and remembering each and every special moment.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
Jewelry - Mostly just what I could find online, with a few heirloom pieces from my mother and gifted to me by my mother-in-law. Since I opted out of the traditional red lehenga for my wedding, I went with red stoned jewelry and bangles.

Cake: Three-tiered cake (chocolate cake with cookie buttercream filling, lemon cake with raspberry filling, and top was strawberry cake with buttercream)

Bridal Entrance song: Jag Ghoomeya (female)- From Sultan

Groom Entrance song: Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga (from Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga)

Mehndi - Because of the generally modern take on every outfit and the simplicity of the decor we chose, I went with a more traditional style mehndi. I personally think it worked great.

Venue - It couldn't have been better since it was extremely convenient for all of our guests, being a 5-minute airport shuttle ride away as well as being very close to the mall in case anyone forgot something. Also convenient for our friends who have kids to just let them run around a bit in the playground

A magical blend of tradition and modern romance, inspiring love and shared joy. Come back for more!
