Good morning, ladies! We are glad to be back with a new love story that we are sure you will love! This time, we will take you on a visual journey through Sejal & Ravi's fusion wedding by taking a look at the fabulous shots captured by Fine Art Productions. Thoroughly planned by Wedding Elegance NYC, today's real-life fairytale has all the things we love and so much more, so get ready to be amazed! This time around, we'll be joining our two lovebirds at the Cherry Hill Crowne Plaza to be part of the different wedding ceremonies and events that united their lives in marriage. Right from the start, we have to say that this celebration was an ode to perfection and extravaganza. But there is no surprise here, as the talented crew from Mandaps by Dhoom took care of the mesmerizing decor that left everyone speechless. The elegance and beauty surrounding this celebration reflected in the looks of our gorgeous Maharani Sejal. She looked ravishing dressed in her stunning attires by Maharani Fashions, very well complemented with the flawless hairstyle and makeup designed by DipBeauty.MUA, and the spectacular Mehndi by Henna by Jinal. But that is not all! She crowned her fantastic look, wearing dazzling pieces of jewelry from Diva Creations' collection, that made her look like a princess! After the ceremonies, all the guests had a great time dancing to the beats of Powerhouse DJs and tasting the delicious plates prepared by Gagan Palace, right before taking a bite at the sweet cake baked by Classic Cakes. If you loved today's wedding, don't forget to visit this spectacular gallery to relive all the moments surrounding this inspiring event. It is worth the while!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Ian and I met during training for our Peace Corps Service in Thailand. We spent all together (with a group of other volunteers) learning the language, teaching children and spending time with our Thai counterparts and host families. Spending this much time with him and still wanting to hang out more made me realize he was more than just a friend. We traveled the country together and our relationship only grew stronger. I found comfort in Ian's friendship while being that far from home, from my friends and family, which made me realize he was "the one,"
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
During my service I lived with my host family is Sukhothai, Thailand where there was a beautiful mountain range that could be seen from my family's house. We hiked that mountain in 2017 and again in 2018 with our friends. Since our first hike was so special and memorable we wanted to do it one last time before the end of our service. January 7, 2018 was the second anniversary of the day we met and one month until the end of our service. On that morning, while watching the sunrise over the village, Ian proposed to me on the cliff of the mountain and of course I said yes!
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
My mom, Ranna, was in charge of all the wedding planning and we are lucky to have had her doing that. She researched and found all of the vendors and together we finalized many decisions. It was very easy to work with all of the vendors since we a knew a few of them from previous events. In the end everyone worked so smoothly with one another to make for a perfect wedding weekend.
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew I wanted a pastel/ light colored decor and lengha. I think I found my lengha on the second or third shopping trip in New Jersey, It was so random when we found it as we were in a store looking for other outfits. I saw the color and sparkle from the corner of my eye and immediately fell in love. I was with my mom, best friend and her mother and we all agreed it was the perfect outfit for me.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Food tasting was really fun and delicious and shopping for clothes was also enjoyable. Doing the entire planning process with my mom and family made the whole wedding experience that much more memorable.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The guests loved spending time together for an entire weekend and celebrating each night to its fullest. We had a lot of non-indian guests so it was very special to see them all fully immersed in every aspect of the weekend. We could feel the love all weekend long and the good weather and good food were also a plus!
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Ian and I always recount the moment of our first look since that was an extremely special and intimate moment for the two of us. Ian always reminisces on the bharat and dancing away with his friends. The feeling of joy we felt by being surrounded by all of our friends and family is a feeling we will remember forever.
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Make the most of the entire process since it all contributes to the special day. Don't let the fear of others' expectations and opinions get in the way of what you and your partner want. Make a food plan to ensure that you and your partner actually get to try all of the wonderful meals you picked out!

We hope you've enjoyed today's feature as much as we did! Make sure to join us tomorrow for more.

Meredith, our planner, is a rockstar!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I visited the Anita Dongre store in NYC and pretty quickly decided on the bridal lehenga look I wanted! And I’m never quick at making big decisions like this. The color was the only thing I was wavering on - whether to go traditional with red or change it up with a lighter complimentary color. I ended up with blush pink and was very happy with it!

Please come back tomorrow. We have a special event prepared for you!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Nand and I met 7 years ago on a dating app and started our relationship with 300 miles between us. We first met in a café half way between our NJ homes. This was just the beginning of a long series of dates during the summer of 2013 through which we got to know each other while Nand was in medical school in NYC and I was a fresh college graduate working in health policy. I fell for Nand's thoughtfulness, sharp mind, and serious drumming skills.
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
After 4 years of long distance, we moved in together to a cozy apartment in the heart of Boston. Nand proposed soon after in Princeton where we spent many formative moments of our relationship and I excitedly said yes! The beautiful proposal was followed by a sweet surprise dinner with all of the people we love the most - our parents, siblings, and grandparents. The ring is a simple, chic, personalized relic from, NYC-based jeweler, Zameer Kassam, who worked with Nand to integrate pieces of our love story into the ring itself. ZK also designed and customized our wedding bands.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests loved Nand's Broad Street Baraat! We shut down a city block outside of Philadelphia City Hall (S. Broad Street) for the Baraat - everyone loved seeing Nand on a horse and dancing to beats by dholi Nihaal Singh and DJ Raj Minocha.
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Nand surprised me with a live band who played through our cocktail hour. Halfway through their set, Nand hopped on the drums and played two special songs with them. He's so talented and I'm his biggest fan!! Our guests loved hearing Nand play and so did I!
For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
Our Sangeet was pretty epic- it was held on the top floor of high rise building with gorgeous view of Philly! I wanted the Sangeet to have a super modern/city vibe so we went with neutrals (white/cream/gold) as opposed to the traditional bright colors. I wore a navy blue lengha designed by my mom and Nand wore a navy blue bandh gala.
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
The most memorable part of our wedding was being surrounded by our closest friends and family members who came from near and far to celebrate our love. It's easy to get bogged down in the details of wedding planning so we tried to remind ourselves of the big picture! You're marrying the love of your life and that's what matters the most!

You will be delighted by the love story that we have prepared for you tomorrow. So please visit us!

Dana Point, CA Indian Wedding by Lin & Jirsa Photography

Happy Tuesday, ladies! When you see your soulmate standing in front of you about to say, "Yes, I do," you realize that no matter where or what, your long-awaited dream dreamed wedding is about to come true. This is the case of Poorvi & Sudeep, our lovebirds from today. If the name of these lovely couple sounds familiar, it is because we have previously showcased their big wedding celebration in a visual masterpiece created by Avec Lumiere Productions that you can relive here. The beautiful gardens of The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, hosted this beautiful festivity. Our friends from The Marigold Company trimmed and organized every detail of this celebration to perfection and found their best ally in 2Create Designs, who crafted a unique decoration for the different events. Raja Sudeep arrived at the baraat celebration riding a gorgeous white horse from Savannah Rose Carriages. And everything was just spectacular! We were particularly amazed by the natural beauty that our gorgeous Maharani Poorvi showcased during the entire festivities, stealing the show. She trusted her beauty needs to Dolled up by Lulu, who delivered nothing but perfection. What talent! To end this celebration, Fusion Sounds turn the gala into a real party with their phenomenal beats. You can relive this moment by visiting today's breathtaking gallery created by Lin & Jirsa Photography.
