Cambridge, MD Indian Wedding by WSS Weddings

Set along the tranquil waters of Maryland, Angela & Darshan’s wedding unfolded like a perfectly paced love story—equal parts serene, celebratory, and thoughtfully elevated. Hosted at the stunning Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay, this multi-day celebration blended natural beauty with classic Indian wedding grandeur, proving that when the setting is right and the vision is clear, magic tends to follow.

Behind that effortless flow was the expert planning and design by CG & Co Events, who orchestrated every detail with precision and grace. From managing multiple events to ensuring each moment felt intentional rather than overwhelming, their touch was evident throughout the weekend. It’s the kind of planning that allows couples to truly be present—and Angela & Darshan absolutely were.

The décor struck a stunning balance between grandeur and refinement, brought to life by Fabrication Events and Abhishek Decorators. Layered textures, statement installations, and beautifully curated floral elements transformed each space while still allowing the natural beauty of the venue to shine. From ceremony elegance to reception drama, every setting felt distinct yet cohesive.

Angela’s bridal glow deserves its own round of applause. Her hair and makeup by Cinderella Bridez was flawless from the first look to the final dance—polished, timeless, and perfectly suited for a full day of celebrations. It was the kind of beauty that photographed beautifully but, more importantly, held up through hugs, happy tears, and a packed dance floor.

Speaking of which—this wedding knew how to feed and entertain a crowd. A thoughtfully curated catering experience featuring Stang Catering, Blue Heron Catering, and Moghul Caterersensuredguests were well taken care of at every turn. DJ Gaurav Sood kept the energy high and the dance floor full, delivering a soundtrack that carried the celebration late into the night.

Adding a touch of classic romance, Carriages of the Capital brought an unforgettable element to the festivities, while the ceremony itself was beautifully guided by priest Rasendra Purani, grounding the celebration in tradition and meaning.

And of course, every unforgettable moment was captured through the lens of Platinum Guide member WSS Weddings. Their photography preserved not just how the wedding looked, but how it felt—the quiet glances, the joyful laughter, the emotional rituals, and the unfiltered celebration that followed. It’s this level of storytelling that makes Platinum Guide creatives such an invaluable part of the Maharani Weddings community.

Angela & Darshan’s Cambridge wedding is a beautiful reminder that the most memorable celebrations are built on trust—trust in your vision, trust in your people, and trust in a vendor team that shows up as true creative partners. When all of that comes together, the result is nothing short of magic.

Philadelphia, PA Indian Wedding by WSS Weddings

If Philadelphia is known as the City of Brotherly Love, then Rachita & Krishna just rebranded it as the City of Timeless Romance. Their wedding at The Westin Philadelphia was nothing short of spectacular—a vibrant blend of tradition, elegance, and pure joy that turned this luxury venue into a stage for one unforgettable love story.

Tucked in the heart of downtown, this venue offers a perfect balance of sophistication and cultural warmth, making it an ideal choice for South Asian weddings. With its grand ballrooms, elegant interiors, and a location that puts guests right in the center of the city’s energy, the hotel wasn’t just a backdrop—it became part of the narrative. From the moment guests stepped into its stunning lobby, they knew they were about to witness something extraordinary.

And extraordinary it was. Tum Hi Ho Events, the creative force behind the planning and design, orchestrated the weekend with precision and flair. Their team ensured every moment flowed seamlessly, turning the couple’s vision into a celebration that felt both personal and larger than life. Working hand-in-hand with Tradition and Trends, the décor elevated The Westin’s ballrooms into an ethereal oasis of color, light, and floral artistry.

Of course, the magic of the weekend would have lived only in memories if not for the incredible artistry of WSS Weddings, who captured every smile, tear, and dance move in both photography and cinematography. Their lens told the story of Rachita & Krishna’s wedding not just as a sequence of events, but as a narrative of love. From the grandeur of the baraat rolling through the City of Philadelphia streets to the quiet, stolen glances between the bride and groom during the ceremony, they immortalized every detail with timeless elegance. Their films and photographs are more than documentation—they’re cinematic keepsakes that Rachita & Krishna will cherish for generations.

Rachita, our stunning Maharani, looked like a vision thanks to the artistry of Beauty By Payal Jay, whose hair and makeup mastery highlighted her natural beauty with elegance and grace. Her bridal glow was enhanced further by the intricate mehndi created by Hiral’s Henna Designs, a work of art in itself. Krishna’s arrival was nothing short of epic, with his baraat parading through Philadelphia’s streets—a moment that had the city pausing to watch, cheer, and join in the joy. The lively beats of DJ Sunny Entertainment Platinum Roadshow carried the energy straight into the ceremony and reception, where the dance floor never once saw a dull moment.

Guests were treated to an indulgent feast by Moghul Catering, whose flavors carried the celebration from cultural tradition to culinary delight. The elegant staging and seating, provided by Premium Event Rentals, completed the scene, ensuring every detail was elevated to match the grandeur of the day.

Together, all these elements created more than a wedding. They created an experience—an event where tradition met modern luxury, where Philadelphia’s vibrancy met South Asian warmth, and where Rachita & Krishna’s love took center stage.

He proposed in a secret hilltop garden overlooking Zurich, Switzerland at the beginning of our summer Euro trip. He has been planning for months, conspiring with my sister in law and sister to create the perfect ring and the perfect moment with a hidden photographer!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We planned and executed the wedding events all within 6 months, including everything from an engagement party at the Pyramid club with views of Philadelphia from the 50th floor event space, to a bridal shower, bachelor and bachelorette parties, haldi ceremony, Sangeet, baraat, wedding, reception, and farewell Brunch. We enjoyed working with all of our vendors, including the Pyramid Club, the Westin Philadelphia, Beauty by Payal, Tradition and Trends, Moghul, Tum Hi Ho planners (Nina Patel), and Raj Minocha of Platinum Entertainment and weddings by Shooting Stars.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The food was a serious hit! From the beginning to the end, we tried to blend cultures and served a mix of northern Indian and South Indian food. Everyone loved the food stall concept for the Sangeet, the lavish breakfast spread before the ceremony, the cocktail hour snacks, and the farewell brunch. Shoutout to Neeraj and the entire Moghul team.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The groom's sister organized an epic friends and family dance performance with skits and voice-overs that shared our story. It was beautifully done and definitely the highlight of the Sangeet. I also loved our siblings' speeches at the reception.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
Mehendi was by NYC Henna Queen, bridal outfits were Manyavar for Sangeet and wedding and Meghana Jain Modish for Reception. Groom was groom2b, Manyavar and Neeru’s. Sangeet entertainment was Kunal Lamba, the Baraat Car was Monaco experiences.

Would you say “I do” in the heart of Philadelphia? Don’t forget to share this wedding magic!

Springfield, PA Indian Wedding by Surya Garigipati Photography

Under a canopy of sunlit pines and later beneath sparkling chandeliers, Chetan & Yuvaram celebrated love—bold, beautiful, and joyfully Indian—at Springfield Country Club in Pennsylvania. From soft pastels to regal blues, their palette felt like a love letter to tradition with a modern heartbeat. The Wow Factor? Two grooms who made every space—bridges, ballrooms, and dance floors—feel like a movie set for magic.

Their pre-wedding portraits were all charm: breezy kurtas, dhoti-style bottoms, and a playful, multicolor scarf that kept finding its way into the frames (and their hands). On a sleek bridge, smiles and sweet banter said everything a “first look” usually does—only here, two first looks were happening at once. Nature approved. So did we. Springfield Country Club set the tone for a lively baraat where aunties twirled, friends cheered, and one very jubilant groom quite literally levitated off the pavement. Inside, Leo Design Gallery dressed the mandap in serene teal and crisp white, creating a soft, elegant frame for the sacred rituals. The ceremony, officiated with warmth and inclusivity by LGBTQ+ friendly wedding pandita Sapna Pandya, balanced reverence with real, human joy. When the varmala moment came, it was equal parts gentle and triumphant—petals, grins, and the kind of eye contact that makes you forget there’s a crowd.

Let’s talk about Surya Garigipati Photography & Films LLC, because this gallery sings. Surya’s team moves like storytellers—never intrusive, always intentional—catching the split-seconds that define a day: a shared smirk during the vows, a mid-air baraat jump, the crisp geometry of dandiya sticks in motion. Their color work stays true to life (those teal drapes! those sapphire kurtas!), while their portraits feel editorial without losing tenderness. From sun-drenched greens to moody, art-filled backdrops, every frame honors Chetan & Yuvaram’s style and spirit. It’s inclusive, artful coverage at its best—the kind couples revisit for years.

The reception turned into a masterclass in celebration. Dynasty Ave kept the dance floor pulsing, and our grooms delivered a synchronized dandiya that had the room roaring—proof that love (and practice) conquers two-left-feet energy. Jewel of India Catering brought the flavor fireworks—think fragrant spices, comforting classics, and seconds (let’s be honest, thirds). Between cake-cutting and late-night portraits—hello, dramatic gallery wall and sparkling LED backdrop—guests lived that “just-one-more-song” life well past bedtime. A favorite personal touch? Mehndi night at The Clay Studio—complete with a pottery class. Guests rolled sleeves, spun clay, and left with keepsakes they want to display. It was tactile, thoughtful, and perfectly them: a little bit of art, a lot of heart.

Staten Island, NY Fusion Wedding by Ronnie Mae Photography

Some love stories start in fairytales. Others start at high school orientation. For Jackie & Kethan, it was the latter—but with just as much magic. From shy hallway glances in the first year to heartfelt vows years later at Celebrate at Snug Harbor, their love story bloomed into a one-of-a-kind fusion wedding that had everything: Tolkien-inspired decor, gourmet lechon, a surprise proposal on a cliff (yes, really!), and a sangeet that doubled as a full-blown dance concert.

When Kethan got down on one knee, it wasn't in a candlelit restaurant or a photo-ready beach. Nope—this was peak romance, literally. He popped the question at the summit of a post-Thanksgiving hike, surrounded by both families and the panoramic glory of nature. Jackie's reaction? Tears, joy, and a mild case of "I got lost with my nephew" before the grand reveal. Jackie & Kethan's wedding was more than a union—it was a celebration of heritage. Day one kicked off with a Filipino Christian ceremony, followed by a backyard gathering complete with a dreamy white dress and a traditional Barong ensemble. Day two turned up the volume with a colorful mehendi brunch and a high-energy sangeet filled with dancing, heartfelt performances, and even a conventional Filipino tinikling routine. By day three, the main event was nothing short of cinematic.

Forget your average ballroom. Jackie and Kethan chose Celebrate at Snug Harbor, a venue as charming as their story. Think of lush botanical gardens, dramatic vaulted ceilings, and ambiance straight out of a fantasy film. Their Lord of the Rings theme featured candlelit tables, mossy accents, and a Middle-earth seating chart. Jackie walked down the aisle to an Elvish tune while Kethan made his entrance to "Concerning Hobbits"—because why not make your wedding soundtrack legendary? Let's talk about the dream team behind the magic. At the helm of the wedding-day energy was Arjun and Luxe Event Group, who brought the music, lighting, and MC prowess to an entirely new level. From the moment guests stepped onto the dance floor until the very last beat dropped, Luxe kept the energy electric. Their ability to seamlessly blend cultures, tempos, and vibes made them the true rhythm behind the celebration.

Of course, no event runs smoothly without a stellar planner, and Natalie Padovano of Lace And Rose Events was the glue that held it all together. She didn't just plan—she envisioned, executed, and elevated this event. Jackie described her as someone who made her feel " seen, safe, and supported," and those words say it all. Thambula Decor transformed the space into an ethereal woodland dream with floral installations and a candlelit ambiance that evoked romance. Jenna Provini of Beyond the Barn created effortlessly chic hair looks, and Briana Lorenn gave Jackie the flawless bridal glow we all envy. Outfits were curated to perfection—from Jackie's coral pink Kanchipuram saree from Mokshaa Chennai to her dreamy reception lehenga and the bridesmaids' Nalli silks to Kethan's regal sherwani by Kora by Nilesh Mitesh and a crisp reception suit from Suit Supply. Let's not forget the bites! Relish Catering earned rave reviews for a diverse spread that had everyone going back for seconds — and thirds.

Among all the glitz and glam, two moments stood out. First, their vows—raw, emotional, and tear-inducing (for guests and the couple alike). Second, the dancing. From "What Jhumka?" to "Chaiyya Chaiyya," the performances were better than front-row seats at a Bollywood premiere. Jackie even added a personal flair, dancing the traditional Filipino tinikling with her sister. As cultures merged and music soared, the night became a beautiful celebration of love, legacy, and rhythm.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met Kethan back in 2006 during our high school orientation. We were placed in the same group and ended up having all the same classes freshman year. We quickly became close friends. Although we didn’t officially start dating until our senior year, I had a huge crush on him by junior year. I remember telling one of my closest friends at the time that I could actually see myself marrying him someday. It was typical teenage wishful thinking. But
as it turns out, I was right!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Kethan and I are big hikers, so it was no surprise when my older sister asked if I wanted to go on a post-Thanksgiving hike. Of course, I said yes! We planned a group hike with both my family and Kethan’s family.

As we made our way to the summit, I actually ended up getting a little lost with my nephew while everyone else waited at the top. When I finally reached the summit, Kethan took me to the edge of the cliff to take in the view, and that’s when he proposed. I cried like a baby!

Afterward, we all headed back to my mother-in-law’s house, where more family and friends were waiting to celebrate.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
It was important for us to celebrate both of our cultures across three days. We started with a Filipino Christian ceremony at the Westfield United Methodist Church. Afterwards, we had an intimate gathering with close friends and family in a beautiful tented setup in my mother-in-law’s backyard. I wore a romantic corseted white dress, and Kethan honored my culture by wearing a traditional Barong.

For our main venue, we knew we wanted something surrounded by nature and a reception hall that would be able to accommodate our guests. I didn’t really enjoy the look of traditional ballrooms and wanted something that was different. We ultimately landed on Snug Harbor, a dreamy venue with lush gardens and a grand reception hall with vaulted ceilings and unique wooden details.  As big fantasy nerds, we went with a whimsical, Lord of the Rings-inspired theme, complete with moody candlelight, mossy details, and even a Middle-earth seating chart. Kethan walked down the aisle to “concerning hobbits,” and I walked down to an Elvish song. To help with cost, we DIYed most of the decor, including fun personal touches like custom napkins with our dogs’ faces on them and signage.

I chose vendors who made me feel seen, safe, and supported, especially Natalie from Lace and Rose Events, who helped bring our vision to life.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Since my husband’s family is from South India, I knew I wanted to honor that by wearing a Kanchipuram saree. I’ve always loved bold, bright colors, so I went in thinking I’d choose something in the pink or orange family.

While we were visiting Chennai, Kethan’s aunt took us shopping to find the perfect saree. At first, nothing really spoke to me until we walked into Mokshaa. One of the salesmen showed me the most stunning iridescent coral pink saree with intricate gold zari detailing. In the light, it shimmered with different tones and felt vibrant, elegant, and completely me.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Making the Lord of the Rings-inspired décor was one of my favorite parts. I love hands-on projects, so it felt more creative than stressful. Plus, it gave me a chance to hang out with my sisters and best friend while getting things done.

Clothes shopping with them was also a highlight, especially seeing them try on Indian outfits for the first time. It was fun, a little chaotic at times, and a really memorable part of the process.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The food, hands down. Everyone raved about it. The team at Relish did an amazing job putting together a diverse and delicious menu that people are still talking about.

Another big highlight was our vows. They were really personal and emotional. There were definitely a lot of tears in the crowd.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Our vows. I’m not someone who’s usually very expressive with my emotions, but that moment gave us the opportunity to truly solidify our commitment to each other. It felt vulnerable, powerful, and full of so much love.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
Our second day of events included a mehendi brunch followed by the sangeet that evening. Kethan’s family put so much effort into transforming the backyard that it was absolutely stunning. The décor was bright and festive, filled with vibrant yellows and pinks.

For my mehendi outfit, I wore a mustard pre-draped saree from Ritu Kumar, while Kethan wore a maroon kurta. Dinner was a mix of Indian and Filipino food, including a big lechon that was quickly devoured by our guests.

That night at the sangeet, I changed into a sequined purple lehenga from Mokshaa, and Kethan wore a sequined navy kurta set. The evening was filled with incredible performances. My bridesmaids and I danced to “What Jhumka?” and Kethan and his cousins brought the energy with “Chaiyya Chaiyya.” To represent my Filipino roots, my sister and I performed the tinikling, a traditional folk dance using bamboo sticks.

Arjun and the Luxe Team MC’d the night and kept the music and energy flowing until the very end.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Don’t sweat the small stuff and don’t crash out before the party starts. Eat something, stay hydrated, and give yourself grace. As per the words of Kethan, “Everything is going to be okay.”

From forest vibes to fusion vows, this wedding was a true celebration of heart and heritage.

Cancun, MX Indian Wedding by Paperboys

When Indian elegance meets coastal luxury, the result is pure magic—and Nina & Avi’s Cancun wedding is proof. Set against the serene shores of Mexico, this destination celebration was a visual masterpiece, blending rich tradition with high-fashion flair. From vibrant pre-wedding festivities to a golden beachfront ceremony and a sparkling reception finale, every event perfectly reflected their unique love story.

Let’s start with their Sangeet at Moon Palace Grand—a night that turned up the volume on glam. Nina wore a hot pink lehenga that could probably be seen from outer space (and yes, we mean that in the best way possible), while Avi complemented her in a black embroidered sherwani that gave “regal but make it fun” energy. From playful portraits to full-on Bollywood vibes, this couple proved they were here to slay early on. From start to finish, Dream Shaadi executed the weekend to perfection. Their design expertise ensured every floral arch, shimmering aisle, and seating plan felt seamless.

We’ve seen our share of grand groom entrances, but Avi’s baraat—powered by Drums in Paradise—was a symphony of hype. Friends lifted him like a rock star, while Dynasty AVE kept the beats bumping. The sign reading “Groom Machale” said it all. It wasn’t just a celebration but a full-on pre-game to the vows. Evoketransformed the beach into a floral fantasy. The ivory mandap framed by the ocean’s horizon was elegant perfection. And Nina, walking down the aisle in a champagne-hued bridal lehenga with hand-embroidered details, was nothing short of breathtaking. Styled to perfection by Styling Trio, her look was soft, regal, and flawlessly timeless. The couple’s mirrored aisle moment? Chef’s kiss.

Behind the scenes, Indian Destination Wedding worked magic as the ultimate travel concierge for Nina & Avi’s wedding. From coordinating guest accommodations to ensuring every travel detail was flawlessly executed, their team made planning a large-scale luxury wedding abroad feel effortless. Whether guiding guests through booking flights, securing resort perks, or managing transportation logistics, they went above and beyond to create a seamless, stress-free experience for everyone involved. With their extensive knowledge of South Asian destination weddings and impeccable attention to detail, it’s no wonder many couples trust them to turn their dream celebration into reality, anywhere in the world.

And a huge round of applause for Paperboys Films, the visual masterminds behind every breathtaking frame of Nina & Avi’s celebration. From the vibrant chaos of the baraat to the soft, emotional moments shared during the ceremony, their cinematography didn’t just capture the wedding—it elevated it. With an expert eye for light, emotion, and movement, the team transformed real moments into scenes worthy of the big screen. Each shot was beautifully composed, edited with intention, and full of feeling.
