I was hoping to close out my week with an over the top Bollywood affair! Today’s Platinum Guide blog feature by Sean Marshall Lin’s photo coverage of Maharani Anjali and Jamie is a fusion infused affair with a very fashionable twist. This modern-day Cinderella inspired celebration most certainly does not disappoint. What I love most about reliving an Indian bride’s special day is seeing it unfold from the minute she starts preparing with her beauty artist. It’s the cherished, behind the scene shots that truly melt my heart! The bride’s wedding lengha was reimagined as a Disney princess piece! The overflowing skirt with gold and white embellishments was a fashionable ensemble that truly would steal any Prince Charming’s heart. Allure couture for sure! Elegant Affairs has once again managed to astonish us with their wedding design skills. When you are designing your wedding mandap, it is always best practice to think outside the box. For Anjali’s indoor decor at the Please Touch Museum, the talented team constructed a floral mandap that was fused with classic and bold drapery. The decor reminded me of Tuscan rustic mixed with Bollywood flair! Jennifer of Kaleidoscope Weddings orchestrated the wedding of this bride’s dreams. Want to explore the big day of two hearts beating as one? Let’s travel down memory lane together in our gallery.
