We are pleased to find that you have returned for the details of Maharani Suchita and Sunny’s reception party at the Addison Park NJ. Flawless Beauty by Pauline returned as her final duty in beautifying Suchita for her grand finale with a soft, side swept curls and rosy, full face glow. The bride wore a light pink and silver gown that was harmonious to Sunny’s navy blue suit. We always love a 360 degree change of venue and Abhishek Decorators knew their way around this ballroom! The decor centered around the couple’s outfits and the venue was bathed in an illuminating shade of hues of purple. The room was not the only thing lit! The dance floor was jam packed with fun with Ultimate Sounds of DJ Manish on the sound stage. With specialities such as cashew nut rolls and falafel, guests were in for a real treat with cuisine catered from Moghul Catering and succulent dessert catered in house from Addison Park. The evening was full of laughter and glee captured charmingly by Manish & Sung Photography with the images that can be found in the gallery. Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Our venue was the first decision we made in our planning process. Addison Park not only accommodated our guest count and had a great professional staff, but it also had its own personality that we loved at first sight. The natural light coming through its windows and skylights inspired a yellow white and gold color theme for our ceremony. Our bridal party wore different shades of warm yellows and gold, and the florals and decor followed suit. All of our vendors, photographers & videographers were very receptive to our vision and theme, and the morning festivities were executed and captured beautifully, thanks to them!
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Our families and closest friends were so involved in coordinating our wedding day, they were basically the best wedding planners a couple could ask for! Thanks to them, our planning process was fun and manageable at the same time.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The Viennese dessert display was so popular at our reception, it was hard to get people back onto the dance floor afterwards! Thankfully our DJ and dholi were there to save the day with some wicked beats.

For our reception, we based our theme on Sunny and my outfit colors: my light pink and silver gown, and Sunny's complementary navy blue suit. About 45 members of our family and friends, all choreographed by Sunny's brother and my brother, worked together to perform a more than 15-minute long production complete with skits, dances and videos, and dressed in our pink and blue theme to depict a Patels and Shahs showdown!
