We're back, Maharanis! We're at The Sterling Caterers for a spectacular reception planned by the experts at Platinum Celebrations Inc.! Elegant Floral Designs added sparkling romantic decor to the venue, which made the event seem straight out of a fairy tale! Our lovely Indian bride Anita looked like a princess in her gorgeous white wedding dress, while Raja Rajesh was a true Prince Charming in his stunning tux! With the incredible cake by Cakes by Stefania, the magic was complete! Maharani Anita on the most magical moment of the wedding:
"The moment Rajesh and I walked into our reception hall before anyone else had arrived. My favorite song, 'Flying' by Bryan Adams, was playing; at that moment that's exactly how I felt! Taking in the beautiful room/decor, and looking at my husband and realizing we were finally married and this was all for us... the feeling was so overwhelming.. and beautiful! The feeling was indescribable!"
On their first dance song:
"We danced to 'She's Everything; by Brad Paisley. My husband picked it!"
On her hair and makeup:
"I had a loose idea of what I wanted but I left it in the trust worthy hands of Natasha (my makeup artist) and one of my best friends Katina of Retrocraze Salon (my hair stylist). It was everything I could of dreamed of!"
On how her friends and family helped:
"Everyone pitched in and helped! Especially Shiv and his team at Platinum Celebrations!"
Final thoughts on from the bride:
"We had the best photographers/videographers on the face of this earth... MAX PHOTO! They were amazing for everything leading up to the wedding and beyond. Our pictures/video were flawless and they didn't miss a thing... they were also super fun! My mehndi was done by one of my best friends Rona. It stained beautifully and was so pretty! We had two beautiful venues: Golden Terrace, and The Sterling. Everything from start to finish was perfect and went off without a hitch. Our wedding by far was the best moment in my life!"
