Get ready to revel in the most breathtaking Sikh ceremony highlights, Maharanis! Matei Horvath Photography captured these stunning details from Shilpi and Maneesh's contemporary, outdoor event at Dolce Hayes Mansion, where the groom rode in on a traditional white horse from Vintage Carriage Company for his baraat and the Indian bride of the hour donned a mint and orange wedding lengha with red dupatta. The decor was airy and elegant, and the floral work on the mandap was divine! We're seriously head over heels for every extraordinary detail from this sensational shaadi event in Northern California, and have some exclusive details from the post-ceremony celebration hiding up our sleeves! Maharani Shilpi, on planning her dream wedding:

"Planning process for the wedding was the craziest time, but I really enjoyed thinking about the overall look we wanted for our ceremonies (we had both a hindu and sikh ceremonies) and reception. This involved a whole lot of Pinterest :). I also really enjoyed going to India before the wedding, with my then fiance, to shop and to have him meet all my extended family. Also, I can't forget the amazing food tastings we did to pick our caterer! Our whole family would go to all tastings and it was a fun time for our parents to get to know each other / hang out, plus eat some amazing meals!"

On her most magical wedding moment:

"The whole wedding weekend was surreal but there are definitely a few moments that really stood out. One moment being when we said our vows to each other during the ceremony. It holds a very special place in my heart."

That's it for today, my dears! We'll be back tomorrow with more shaadi fun!
