Greetings, girlies! You may have caught this adorable couple's wedding highlight reel on an earlier edition of Filmy Fridays! Today, House of Talent Studio shares with us the lovely photos from this Indian ceremony! We're first going to start off with the sangeet which takes place at the Ukrainian American Cultural Center of New Jersey. I adore the vibrant stage that comes alive with the bright, green drapes and ruby-red seating. We then see the excited Maharaja galloping in on his gallant horse, courtesy of Caliber Farms, which I hear have the most well-mannered & trained horses! Now, feast your eyes on the bewitching lady of the hour! Maharani Heenal looks positively stunning in her traditional red, gold & white lengha choli, which is by Camouflage Fashion - a designer boutique in Mumbai. Singhar by Ayesha beautifully defines the blushing bride's brown eyes with black eyeliner & shimmery cream and brown shadows. Bijal Desai chooses a delicate mehndi floral design for Heenal's dainty hands. As she walks down the aisle of the upscale Hilton Parsippany, the gorgeous pastel pink & white floral arrangements, by none other than Design House Decor, perfectly spell out B-R-I-D-A-L for me! Stay with me as I bring you more treats from this momentous occasion. Speaking of treats, I hear the guests couldn't get enough of the delish cuisine of Catering by Rasoi! Stay tuned for more and for now, see more of this big day in the gallery!

From the bride, on how they met:

"Anand & I met at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. We had been friends for over 5 years before we actually became girlfriend/boyfriend. Our relationship started as a friendship which eventually became love. We talked on the phone for hours and hours daily as just friends and our friends started realizing that this relationship was beyond friendship. Anand would call me every day on his way to work and I'd be waiting patiently for his phone call. Slowly, I got to know everything I needed to know about Anand and his family. I knew Anand was the one when I told him my story about how I was an only child and that my parents were my # 1 priority!!! Without hesitation, he responded "I know marrying an only child comes with responsibility (taking care of the parents) and I will be more than happy to take on that responsibility!" Anand is such a genuine and loving guy! It's hard not to fall in love with someone with his personality! He knows exactly what to say when I'm feeling down and what to do to make me feel better! His loving personality and care for those around us made me fall in love with Anand in an instant!"

On the proposal:

'Even at the age of 27, I am a HUGE Disney (Mickey/Minnie) fan! The characters can bring a smile on my face in an instant! Although I was such a big fanatic, I had not been to Disney World. In the summer of 2012, Anand and I finally booked a trip to Disney World for December 2012. I was beyond ecstatic to be visiting for the first time! As we boarded the plane for Orlando, Anand pulled out these 2 watches. They were his/her Disney Mickey/Minnie Watches. I couldn't believe that Anand had got these watches for us. This made me even more excited about our trip. I had no clue what was ahead of me. All I could think about was being in the magical world of Disney. We visited Magic Kingdom the first day of our trip. The first thing I wanted to do was by Minnie Mouse ears, which he bought me. We then approached Town Square, where we were going to be able to take a picture with Mickey Mouse! As we entered the Mickey Mouse House, I was ecstatic to see Mickey. Mickey tapped me on the shoulder and told me turn around. As I turned around, I saw my prince charming on one knee. I could not believe my eyes! Anand was ready to propose! He was so nervous that he forgot everything he wanted to say and simply said "Heenal, I love you! Will you marry me and spend the rest of your life with me?" I instantly started crying and I couldn't have been happier! Two dreams came true on December 14, 2012 (going to Disney World & being engaged to the love of my life)!"

On the wedding style:

"I knew from day 1 that I wanted our wedding to be classy and elegant! I had a vision of floral and elegance. I wanted a classic, elegant, and clean wedding. I wanted to incorporate gold into my color themes! Once I had my outfit, I decided to make my color theme gold and blush pink. This color theme was perfect for the look I was going for."

On planning:

"The best part of the planning process, was being to go through every step with my husband. Most brides are in control of everything, but it was different in our case. My fiance at the time was very involved throughout the whole thing. I loved every moment of it! The time that we spend with each other while planning our wedding was unforgettable."

On hair & makeup:

"As far as my makeup goes, I was aiming for the natural look. A lot of brides don't even look like themselves. I wanted to be able to look like myself. I wanted a very natural, yet a stunning look for the wedding. During the reception, I wanted my eyes to stand out and be dramatic! I worked with Ayesha Khan of Singhar, who was able to make me look like a princess on my wedding day! She did a fabulous job and was very supportive! She constantly made sure I had a smile on my face and I was doing ok throughout the whole getting ready process. During the wedding, I wanted a very low/loose bun and the reception I just wanted loose curls. Ayesha executed both looks flawlessly!"

On the bridal fashions:

"When it came to choosing my lengha for the wedding and reception, it took me a very long time! I searched the internet for months and months to try to see what I liked! I looked at inspiration boards, including Maharanis! I went to India with my family where I was able to get my outfits custom made by 2 designer boutique stores in Mumbai. My wedding dress- I wanted it to be only white gold and red. I wanted it to be very intricate work and classy! I finally was able to have Camaflouge, a designer boutique, in Mumbai make my wedding gown for me. My reception gown, was made flawlessly by Kalki, another boutique designer in Mumbai, India."

On a special moment:

"Although there were several magical moments throughout the wedding, the one that stands out the most was when I was walking down the aisle. I was filled with tons of emotions as I was escorted down the aisle by my uncle. As I walked down the aisle, all I saw was Anand at the altar anxiously waiting for me. Although there was 400 people around me, the only person I saw was my husband to be. The excitement and anxiousness on his face was priceless."

On fam & friends helping:

"The support of both mine and Anand's family and friends was tremendous. Our families and bridal party worked day and night before our wedding to make sure everything would be perfect the day off. Anand & I did not hire a event coordinator as we wanted to save the money to use on another detail of the wedding. Our wedding planning was done solely by my husband and I. The day coordination was done by our bridal party and family members. My husband and I planned our whole wedding with every detail in mind. Although we had control of everything before the wedding, the events that unfolded the day off had to be left solely up to our family and bridal party! We couldn't have been happier with the way things turned out and wouldn't change any detail about our wedding! We are so appreciative of our family and friends for their help, love, and support!"

On a special detail:

"My bouquet was made by Design House Decor. My grandmother was a very important part of my childhood. She passed away a few years ago, but she will always remain in my heart. I wanted her to be a part of the most important day of my life. I had a little locket attached to my bridal bouquet with a picture of her in it. As I walked down the aisle, I knew she was with me and that made me feel so much better!"

Awesome images from the reception are still ahead!
