Welcome back, darlings! Let's see this dashing duo get married! Held at the Memphis Botanic Gardens in Tennessee, this South Asian fusion ceremony is encompassed by fresh, white, pink & lavender floral arrangements. Does that not spell b-r-i-d-a-l to you?! Rob Lyons Photography, with guest photographer, Rosalie Black Photography, do an awesome job of capturing the most memorable moments! We then move to the reception in which the cake, by Frost Bake Shop, is elegant, yet classic. Maharani Mana's white fantasy of a gown moves gracefully on the dancefloor as the newlyweds have their first dance! See it all, from start to finish in the gallery!

From the bride, on the wedding style:

"I am Persian, and Vinay is Gujarati. Both of us come from such rich and unique cultures that it quickly became clear to us that we would want to give each tradition the time and attention it deserves. Rather than try to fuse the two, we decided to have two separate ceremonies on two different days. Doing so gave us the opportunity to have multiple color palettes that reflect taste and vision....I had grown up imagining the big, white dress and veil, what the Sofreh Aghd of my Persian ceremony would look like, what songs would play, and anything else you can imagine. I loved working with my mom to handcraft all the props we used for the ceremony. My sister performed the ceremony, which made it even extra special!"

On family helping:

"My mom and sister were instrumental in making the Persian ceremony happen. I think mom was on the Internet looking at photos even more than I was! She helped me handcraft all of the props we used for the Sofreh. My sister had the enormous task of officiating the ceremony. Our guests were amazed at her poise and delivery of every part of the ceremony. My grandfather even wrote a poem for us, which he read as a part of the ceremony!"

What a gorgeous ceremony & reception! Make sure to check out their traditional Indian ceremony on the main blog if you haven't done so already! See you next time, dolls!
