Our Mr. and Mrs. are ready to celebrate! Maha Designs circles this illustrious sapphire scene snapping gorgeous pics of every detail. How posh is that wintry sweetheart stage with crystal candelabras?! I'm loving this icy cool floral and decor! Maharani Shweta's ultra-luxe reception lengha is the perfect complement to this shimmering ballroom and Raja Virpal is entirely chic in a sleek suit with elegant blue touches. And did you get a look at that cake? That's ah-maze-ing! Seriously! That is a work of culinary art! I'm totally enchanted by this event, darlings, and I have to relive all the glam again in the gallery!
From the bride:
"Our reception was a royal theme. From our cake, clothes, to decor, we wanted something that would be classy and elegant. We chose royal blue, silver, and apple green in our palette of colors. Our cake was disney inspired, with all the royal princes and princesses exemplified on it, and to top it off we had a king's crown as our cake topper."
On her reception outfit:
"For my reception outfit, I wanted something royal, classy, elegant and blue all at once. I had an idea in my mind for a long time, mostly ever since I was proposed to. And I worked with a top notch designer in Delhi, who took my dream outfit and made it into a reality."
On special moments:
"Not to take away from the days of our wedding festivities, I will never forget the time Virpal and I spent in India meeting with family and shopping. Our families were sweet and very helpful in our wedding shopping. I'm sure Virpal enjoyed the shopping as much as I did! Since majority of our families are in India this was a great opportunity to spend time with them and have them get to know Virpal. We are blessed to have such a loving family—even 1400 miles away!"
On her first dance:
"My Raja and I, while romantics at heart, wanted to do something fun. So we chose our slow dance on the song of Tum Jo Aye Reprise. The lyrics of this song completely described how we felt about it each other. And to make our first dance even more memorable we remixed it with the ever-classic Akhyon Se Goli Maare and did an energetic dance routine. It was so much fun, Virpal had a blast playing Govinda's part!"
On family helping with the event:
"Our family & friends were our biggest support during the whole wedding planning. They not only made our ideas a reality they made our events super special by enjoying it to the fullest."
What a dream! See you tomorrow, Maharanis!
