Happy Monday, Maharanis! We're starting this week on a fabulous Indian fusion note with a look at one of the most adorable brides, who's wedding the Raja of dreams in San Jose, California! The incredible photographers from Wedding Documentary Photo + Cinema have covered every delightful detail from Angela and Tushar's multi-day celebration, which was planned and designed by the experts from Amazáe Events, and features some extraordinary highlights like performances by the Kukoo G. Singh Baraat Band (which you'll get to see later today!) and a breathtaking fusion ceremony at the Dolce Hayes Mansion! Before we get to any of those wedding day details though, we're giving you an exclusive look into Angela and Tushar's mehndi ceremony and their beautiful pre-wedding fashions! The blushing bride wore an impressive, deep teal-colored lengha from VAMA Designs Indian Bridal Couture, and the groom showed off his bright side in a pink kurta and violet scarf! The mehndi artist from Mehendi Zone worked their magic on Maharani Angela's hands and feet to help get her ready for her blended celebration, and we're loving every detail to bits! Maharani Angela, on planning her and Tushar's fusion wedding:
"My favorite part of the wedding was figuring out how to incorporate both of our cultures into the ceremonies and celebrations. The day before, we had a tea ceremony where Tushar was introduced to my extended family. We served tea to them as a sign of respect and they gifted us red envelopes in return. After that we had a Godh Bharai where Tushar's family showered us with gifts as well."
