We're back with more exciting details from Lisa and Vamsee's festivities. After an emotional, tear filled Christian ceremony, Lisa slipped into a bedazzling red and green lehenga fit for a princess! Guests gasped as she floated down the aisle, glittering under the sunlight streaming into the State Room Boston venue. Vamsee couldn’t take his eyes off his ravishing bride, and they solidified their union with traditional Hindu vows under their fired hued mandap. After two beautiful ceremonies, the newlyweds and their guests were ready to get the party started! Lisa and Vamsee enlisted the incredible DJs from Murray Hill Talent to get the crowd amped up with their bouncing beats. As guests entered the ballroom, they were transported to a decadent wonderland with rich florals and decor created by Madison Floral and a mouthwatering cake whipped up by I Dream of Jeanne. We can’t get enough of Lisa and Vamsee's modern and chic celebrations captured by Melissa Robotti Photography. Each pic shows such beauty and joy and we can’t wait for you to look through the full gallery!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

We wanted to get married in the city we fell in love, and after looking at venues that would accommodate our complex wedding day details. When we saw the State Room we knew immediately that it was perfect. The view of the city was so impressive, that we were sure it would give our guests from out of the state and country a memory they would never forget.

I chose the Hair and Make-up artists that my sister-in-law had used in her wedding just a year and a half before. It was great to have some familiar vendors around during the morning of, and I love their work. They were so pleasant and fun to chat to!

I chose my wedding photographer, DJ, and florist from the list of recommended vendors provided by the State Room - and I'm so glad I did. All of them were amazing, flexible, and so talented.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?

The most enjoyable part of the planning process was getting to bring my families together. It was wonderful to see everyone learning about each other's culture, traditions, and religions. It brought us closer together and made our wedding day that much more special.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?

My guests said they loved how unique our wedding felt. They noticed how many personal touches we incorporated and how we closely intertwined the two cultures within our wedding ceremonies.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?

The vows were emotional! I didn't expect to cry, but hearing Vamsee recite the traditional American vows were so special. Then to follow up the vows with the saptapadi during the Indian ceremony was special as well.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?

Enjoy every minute of the planning process and your wedding day. Stressful moments will happen, but this time in your life will come and go, so enjoy it as much as you can!

So lovely! Have a wonderful Monday Maharanis!
