After Pearl’s wedding ceremony, it was time to kick it up a notch with DJ Mav for the wedding reception party! Pearl slipped into a raw silk sari given as a gift from Ben’s family. The hues of her attire were a perfect match to the reception decor by Wedding Décor by Faiza. Draped2Nines ensured that the sari was wrapped perfectly and not a single pleat was out of place as Pearl and Ben made their grand entrance into The Westin Dallas Park Central. Some of my favorite images from this wedding reception is the bustling wedding party who didn’t skip a beat as they made their arrival! For Pearl, one of the most coveted memories of the night was when Maharaja belted out love tunes in a surprise song. He played the guitar while singing alongside of his sister to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. Heart be still. The venue was a rustic affair with gold, iron wrought centerpieces and glittering gold tablecloths from Wedding Décor by Faiza. Guests will forever remember this night as fun, family and great food! The bride has some advice to our future brides: "The wedding day goes by fast, so remember to pause and make an effort to remember those special moments! Also, as intense as wedding planning is, do not forget to take time to prepare for marriage and a God-honoring commitment as well".
