You have not seen a quintessential Bollywood-inspired wedding until you have seen Tulsi & Shreemad’s! In the bride’s own words, “we would make a party out of every planning session”, so naturally, the very first celebration was like a mini Bollywood party! Shreemad organized a date to a recording studio to record a song with Tulsi, and ended with “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi” when he got down on one knee. They were then surprised by fifty family members and recorded “Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna” from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge together! The ceremony was hosted at The Doubletree Austin and was a blend of Bollywood and tradition in terms of theme. It began on an energetic note with a fun Baraat courtesy of Angeli Carriages. Tulsi and Shreemad donned festive white and red ensembles, the wedding party was all dressed in emerald green, and the decor had hints of coral through G2 Entertainment’s lighting. Unique Designs and Events and Austin Rainbow Bouquet made a dream floral & decor team! Tulsi brought a lot of fabrics from India which Unique Designs and Events incorporated based on the color scheme. Drapery took center stage at this Bollywood wedding fiesta, where Suprabhat, Swad, Masala Wok, and Casa Ole came together to cater a diverse spread of delicacies. Tulsi took this self-orchestrated wedding to the next level even knowing exactly what Mehndi design she wanted. Nisha with Henna Arts recreated the bride's Pinterest-find perfectly. Capri D’Aun had lots of creative freedom in gussying up the bride with hair and makeup, since Tulsi’s only requirement was glitter eye shadow!
