Welcome back! Today, we return to Ohio for the wedding and reception for Maharani Puja and her beau Savan held at the Days Inn & Suites Richfield. On the morning of her wedding Kajal by Kimberly arrived bright and early to bedazzle our bride for her big day. Puja wore a traditional raw silk, red and gold bridal lengha hand plucked from Aishwarya; a classic piece that was a perfect mixture of charisma and charm. As Puja was her own wedding planner, she wasn’t caught up in designing a Pinterest-perfect wedding and was able to savor the fun and the self satisfaction of knowing that most of the decor and centerpieces were crafted by her and her family; truly a labor of love. The stunning mandap positioned front and center, was an original Golden Collection piece from Bindiya Decor. A special favorite of mine was the creation of a paan laahri in which the catering team dished out fresh paan to guests! Paan is a South Asian treat that is usually served at the end of a meal and wedding ceremonies. After the morning ceremony ended, it was time to put on the dancing heels back at the ballroom in Days Inn & Suites Richfield. Puja exchanged her classic wedding lengha for a more contemporary royal blue and gold designer piece from Aishwarya that paired perfectly with the ambiance like lighting of the venue. Opening Minds Entertainment held down both the lighting up the dance floor and helming the turntables as guests danced the night away. The buffet line was packed and stocked to the brim with specialty items such as paneer tacos and palak corn catered by Chowpatty. Vegan Sweet Tooth ensured that all guests were able to enjoy the sweets of the night.
