Maharani Miriam, on what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:

"We kept the wedding (relatively!) small, and I loved planning each detail with our guests in mind, as I could really personalize everything. I have a very large extended family, and it was so touching to have almost all of them fly in for the event!"

On her most memorable wedding day moment:

"Walking down the aisle - the memory still brings tears of joy! There is no feeling more amazing and special than seeing all of your favorite people, your husband-to-be waiting for you at the end of the aisle, and walking down this life-changing path with your parents."

On her and Raja Reddhi's reception entrance:

"We walked in to California Love by Tupac! Seemed appropriate given how we met, and most important, fun!"

On the role family and friends played:

"I have 40 first cousins! So I definitely enlisted them to help the few days before, and could not have done it without them! One actually baked our stunning wedding cake for us, straight off a flight from London! I had requested rosewater flavor in keeping with the theme- it was so delicious and unique. She also had just come off working as a pastry chef for Heston Blumenthal, one of the best chefs in the world, so it was really a treat! Two of my cousins ensured the day of was executed to perfection, one helped me with my dress, jewelry, overall look and the other made sure the decor & florals were all in place! It was also my father's 70th birthday a few weeks prior, so we incorporated a surprise birthday cake and gift - 70 reasons he is #1! Another cousin ensured all of our extended family wrote their personal notes & reasons, before gifting to him."

On the venue:

"The venue, Hilton Palm Springs, was such a picture perfect location! We had the ceremony outdoors overlooking the pool, with mountains and palm trees as the backdrop. Palm Springs is so close to Los Angeles, yet it really felt more like a destination wedding, which, combined with a family reunion, was really a weekend to remember!"

Stay tuned for a Filmy feature that promises to delight!
