This blushing Indian bride turned to fashion design team Shyamal & Bhumika to help create her dream reception lengha, and you are going to love her magenta, champagne and pink ensemble! Now that she's party perfect, she can make a memorable entrance into her celebration at The Westin Jersey City Newport, where Bells N Rings Events has planned and designed the most exquisite Indian wedding reception for her and her new hubs. The floral and decor by Elegant Affairs is to-die-for, and these vibrant portraits by Jay Seth Photography are simply stunning! The bride, on shopping for her reception outfit:
"My reception outfit gave me the hardest time. I had something in mind and I couldn't find it anywhere! Until I went to Shyamal & Bhumika and found MY PERFECT OUTFIT! I worked closely with the staff there as well as Bhumika herself to decide which outfit would fit best with my theme and the final product was absolutely stunning! My mom also got a matching sari which was gorgeous. The outfit was perfectly fitted and I got so many compliments that night. Shyamal & Bhumika even featured our picture on their Instagram page!"
On her most memorable wedding day moment:
"It would probably be walking into the reception to see a stunning set up as well as the room filled with all our family and friends. It was such a special moment that I had tears in the eyes. There was so much love in that room and I couldn't have been happier."
On her and her Raja's first dance song selection:
"Yes! We actually did a really fun medley where we chose all our favorite songs. We started off with a slow dance to KC & JoJo and then busted out into a cute couple dance with songs including Cheerleader, Shut up and Dance and Chumma Chumma. Everyone loved it so much that the DJ even played the medley again towards the end of the night!"
On the role that family and friends played:
"All of my close family and friends helped out tremendously with all the events of the wedding! We really could not have done it without them and I appreciate everything that they did."
Final thought from the bride:
"Everything that weekend went perfectly. Everyone was so shocked how perfectly organized our wedding was and how everything ran so smoothly. I do have to give credit to Bells N Rings (Meghna Trivedi) for being our weekend coordinator as she really helped make the event run smoothly. The venue was perfect as we wanted a modern sheik look, close to the water and with a NYC backdrop. The cake was also a huge hit from Palermos Bakery. The biggest hit was definitely the food by Bukhara Grill! There was an enormous spread for the cocktail hour including numerous hors d'oeuvres. The dinner was fabulous and there was a huge spread of desert as well. All of our friends said that they have never eaten that much in their entire life!"
