Happy Monday, Maharanis! Best Dream Weddings by Vanessa Doménech is treating us to one of their most memorable Indian wedding events in Southern California today, and I'm so excited to share it all with you gals in these stunning images taken by William Innes Photography! Our featured bride, Maharani Niyati, is dazzling in front of the lens for her first look portraits with her Raja, Shashank, in a brilliant orange and gold wedding lengha and hot pink dupatta! Her breathtaking jewelry set, especially those out-of-this-world bangles, are some of the most glitzy bridal accessories we've ever seen and I could probably gush about them all day long! In just a bit, we'll check out the happy couple's beautiful wedding ceremony at the The Westin Pasadena, but in the meantime, make sure you visit the complete gallery for even more shots from this amazing portrait session!

The bride, on how she met the Raja of her dreams:

"We both went to UCI for our undergrad, and met each other at a Hindu club on campus! I knew when we both enjoyed going to the park just to play on the swings and stay in to watch movie and pizza night!"

On choosing her wedding lengha(s):

"I did a lot of research on Pinterest before going to India. I am from Rajasthan and wanted to make sure my wedding lehenga had a more traditional look and my reception lehenga to be more classy. My favorite color is orange so I wanted to make sure that was part of my outfits."

What she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:

"We loved incorporating the traditional aspects of our Hindu and Indian culture and both of our fun easy going relaxed personalities."

More to come from this vibrant event, so make sure to check back in with us soon!
