It's Friday, Maharanis, and to help you breeze through your last day before the weekend we've got a gorgeous California wedding from Dawid Bilski Photography that's got a bevy of handmade charm to inspire your crafty side! (Maybe a fun Saturday project tomorrow?!) Bride Preetika kicks off her day of bliss with a hair and makeup session courtesy of her mom and closest girls—now that's as sweet as it gets! At the ceremony, she ties the knot to Raja Abhishek and their sunny San Jose afternoon nuptials couldn't be more delightful! But what I cannot stop staring at is their three-tier cake that appears to be made of edible silk! I mean, look at that sumptuous miracle! It may be too pretty to eat! While our lovebirds contemplate slicing into that delectable dream, I'm gonna browse more of the DIY details in the gallery!
From the bride, on her wedding style: "I'm not sure I had a central color in mind, I knew I wanted the colors to be warm. The theme had to be 'simple' because it described 'us' so well. As we started working on the card (it was handmade), Etsy & Pintrest helped the ideas flow and complete the picture. All the decor ended up being handmade. Yes, handmade—the cake toppers, the flowers on each of the chairs, the centerpieces—you name it!"
Impressive! We'll be back after the weekend, lovelies!
