Okay, we admit it, we lose our hearts when a wedding film has the song Kabira playing in the background. Anisha and Varoon’s multi-day wedding was hosted at The Westin, St. Francis, and Wedding Documentary Photo + Cinema featured the hustle and bustle of stunning San Francisco in a dozen innovative ways. Quick heads up - we’re going to obsess over the fashion quotient like never before! Ours jaws dropped when we learned that the #Baj2Bhagat wedding was self-planned, because it was so well orchestrated. The Sangeet hosted at a residence incarnated a Bollywood movie, with refined dance performances from friends and family, composed by Mona Khan Sampath Dance. Anisha gleamed in a scallop mirror blouse and a rani pink lehenga by Arpita Mehta, and Varoon made for the ideal fashionista counterpart in an orange kurta set paired with a floral sadri (vest). Wedding Documentary Photo + Cinema, who also doubled up as photographers, went the extra mile to stage and film detailed shots of Anisha’s stunning Kundan jewelry and Varoon’s festive red mojaris indicating the onset of their ceremony. Anisha slipped into her crimson red Shyamal and Bhumika lehenga, paired with a tulle gold dupatta, and a pair of glittering Louboutins. Crystal garlands and decorative drops were central elements of the elegant glass mandap, and we loved how Shakir Decor incorporated minimalistic floral elements by placing pastel rosettes along the rim of the mandap. We were in awe of Anisha’s quintessential bridal makeup, that was perfectly suited for every occasion and outfit, courtesy of Beauty by Megan Naik. The grand finale was the resplendent reception at The Westin St. Francis, where the ballroom was enveloped in lilac lighting by Got Light, and Shakir Decor decked it up in a plethora of bling through an interplay of crystal decor and sequin drapes. The cake by Inticing Creations had a singular intricate design running along all four tiers! Dressed to the nines in a metallic grey, stone-embroidered Gaurav Gupta sari gown, Anisha, along with her beau opened the reception with a waltz. This was followed by award winning dance performances by the wedding parties (we’re guilty of trying to learn some of these awesome moves) after which Toofan Sounds took over for DJing. Hit play to see just how cohesively everything came together!

This wedding was like a bridal fashion show of our dreams! Return to the blog tomorrow for more drool worthy weddings.
