Ciao Maharanis! It’s a cold day here in San Francisco and as it is the second day of the new month, is it just me or is this year just flying by? Needless to say, there hasn’t been a shortage of amazing Indian weddings and today we are reporting from the windy city of Chicago for Maharani Shelly and Gush’s cinematic wedding highlight. The video begins with waves of pre-wedding festivities initiating the fabulous wedding and reception at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort that would soon follow. The event and wedding team behind the multiple day festivities was JDEventz with Zankhana Desai helming the important task of ensuring that all festivities went without a hitch. Our bride looked like a Bollywood goddess, rocking a large Nath (nose ring) that beautified her bridal look by talented makeup artist Enrique Enriquez. The baraat party made an unforgettable arrival with the groom perched on a majestic white horse from Maharaja Farm. After the Sikh wedding, which was also held at the Hilton, guests put on their dancing shoes and bogeyed on down until the wee hours of the morning with DJ Aladdin on the turntables working his euphonic magic. The venue was dressed in floral centerpieces with linen encrusted backdrops designed by Lavish Weddings. Guests hung out in the Photo Booth from Blue Sky Entertainments after dining on tandoori chicken and vegetable pakoras catered by India House. All the cinematic memories was caught on film by Le Cape Weddings who also served as the photographer for the multi layered event!

I am itching for a good love tale. Head on over as I replay this amazing Indian wedding out of Monterey, CA by Paul Ortiz Films. See you tomorrow!
