Happy Monday, Maharanis! A new week starts today so let's get ready to enjoy a unique love story. Maharanis, today's feature is about a lovely couple, Puja & Kevin. Their journey started in the Finger Lakes, where they would have occasional dates at the wineries. How romantic is that! As you can imagine, that was the perfect setting to propose, Kevin did it, and our lovely Puja said "Yes" to a new life as a beautiful Maharani with a handsome Groom. My dears, we know planning a wedding event might get a bit difficult. However, our couple always believed that their love could surpass any situation! Thanks to the dedication and professionalism of the Tum Hi Ho Events team, every wedding detail was perfectly executed. The elegant Hanover Marriott was the venue of choice, and I can tell you, Maharanis, our couple seemed happier than you can imagine! Dancing and celebrating along with the Bride and Groom during their big day is a must. Luxe Event Group offers high-quality sound engineering and lighting technologies that perfectly suit our couple's wedding event! One of the greatest DJs on this team played the best songs! I will use our lovely Maharani's words: "Everyone loved being out on the dance floor during the reception." Kevin and I met in the Finger Lakes where we would have occasional dates at the wineries, so he figured a winery would be the perfect setting! When we got there, we went for a walk through the vineyard and came across a cute set up and a sign that said "Will You Marry Me". I can't remember what he said after he got down on one knee, but I guess I said yes because well...here we are!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We started planning our wedding in the Winter of 2019! Things were pretty seamless in picking our vendors because we already had an idea of who we wanted. When the pandemic hit, we had to postpone our original wedding date to 15 months later. However, we were lucky our vendors were still available for our new date and everyone was so accommodating and supportive throughout! Nirali went above and beyond for our decorations and we could not have been happier with the way they came out. Dawn and Divya were the dream team for hair and make up! They made getting ready fun and easy going. Tum Hi Ho was our day of coordinator. Their team was so thorough and made our day run smoothly! DJ Gaurav ALWAYS brings it! Everyone loved being out on the dance floor during the reception. Lightyear studio captured every moment of our big day and we were in awe with the same day edit!
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
When I went to India with my parents, I went in thinking I wanted a light, pastel colored wedding dress. After trying on a couple hundred dresses (sorry mom and dad), I fell in love with the complete opposite! I wore a bright red dress with beautiful gold handwork throughout the dress from the store Sequinze.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
With our wedding being an interracial wedding, we wanted to make sure both sides would have a good time. Our guests loved everything from the baraat to the music and food!
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Seeing Kevin for the first time the morning of our wedding in our wedding outfits was truly special. We both were so happy that the day was finally here!
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
The day goes by in a blink of an eye, so enjoy every moment and take it all in!
