Distance makes the heart grow fonder couldn’t be more true than for Nisha & Saleem. This couple met at an ice cream shop in Atlanta and soon they were sharing stories and dreams together over the phone and three hour car trips back and forth from Alabama.

After a proposal in March of 2020, they started planning their July 12, 2020 wedding. Tradition dictated the bride’s choice and undoubtedly she went with red. Looking for a trendy, modern lengha the bride searched high and low until she found one that complimented her personal style.

RoyalDekors made the couple’s wedding vision come to life. The stunning backdrop that was seamlessly coordinated with couple’s outfits. Elegant centerpieces took center stage on the tables, with a charming cake table, and a one of a kind entrance walkway rounding out the reception decor. The chic ambiance set the stage for a much needed celebration!

“Our first dance was very special. We performed on Kabir Singh’s song “Tera Ban Jaunga” as this song holds special memories for us. DJ Imran did live singing which added to the wedding fun!”

Congratulations to the gorgeous Nisha & Saleem!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Our first date was in October 2019 at our favorite ice cream place in Atlanta. The first time I met Saleem I knew he had something special in him. For Saleem it was love at first sight. Although it didn’t happen as fast for me but in no time he stole my heart. Saleem lived in Alabama which was 3 hours from Atlanta but he never let distance come in our way. He traveled to Atlanta to see me and eventually decided to move here. We started spending more time and knew we were made for each other.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
The best color for a bride on the occasion of her marriage is undoubtedly a red color. My mother in law and Saleem both suggested that I go with a red color as it would best compliment me. I tried on many red bridal outfits but they all looked very traditional. I wanted something that was red but trendy. After searching many places, I found the one!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Usually wedding planning is very STRESSFUL but we were very fortunate to have our family’s support. The best part was both the families coming together and giving their all in making this wedding so perfect. My maid of honor, my sister, was my biggest strength. I couldn’t have done it without her!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests loved the decor the most. RoyalDekors made our wedding vision come to life. They did a fabulous backdrop that perfectly coordinated with our outfit colors. They placed elegant centerpieces on the tables, arranged beautiful sweetheart cake table, and did amazing entrance walkway. The decor was impeccable and went well above and beyond our expectations. The guests loved the ambience!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Our first dance was very special. We performed on Kabir Singh’s song “Tera Ban Jaunga” as this song holds special memories for us. DJ Imran did live singing which added to the wedding fun!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Don’t stress yourself about having the most perfect wedding. The most important thing is to enjoy yourself and live the moment and everything will fall into place!
