Welcome back, beauty queens! We continue our journey through Payal & Amit's wedding festivities by taking a look at their wedding ceremony. Held inside the halls of the Waterford Banquet & Conference Center, this ceremony had it all! It was full of traditional flair, emotions, and love. JD Eventz designed and executed this event to perfection, while Shaadi Creations crafted a fabulous decor that amazed everyone! The traditional Indian fabrics, the soft-colored floral arrangements, and the overall decor and design of this event were reminiscent of the interiors of an ancient Indian palace. Luckily for us, Joseph Kang Photography was there to capture all the beauty surrounding this event for our enjoyment! They reflected all their talent and expertise in every single shot that showcases the most intimate and memorable moments of this life-changing event! If you can't get enough of this lovely ceremony, head into our gallery for more. We have a beautiful selection of shots that will take your breath away. So go check them out!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met Amit on “Dil Mil”.  I knew he was the one the moment he remembered the smallest detail about me (aka cherry coke and the way I like my bean burrito from Taco Bell) and also knew he was the one after he met my family.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We were in San Francisco to take engagement pictures. We had a photographer with us all day and at the end, as it was getting colder and we ere trying to wrap up, he kept stalling me. he proposed right on the beach with the view of the Golden Gate Bridge behind had.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I made many many calls to different vendors the month before I left for India to finalize everyone. It was a very stressful month with a lot of comparing one vendor over another.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I had a certain color I always wants. My sister and I created a shared wedding album years ago putting different outfits, rings, hairstyle styles etc..I used that as my guide and just knew when I saw my outfit that it was the one. I FaceTime my sister in law with my outfits and we both knew it was

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Making all the small gifts and packing all the food together with all my family was the very enjoyable bc we were with my whole family. All the FaceTimes I did with my sister in law for every song was also fun.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
They loved the food a lot.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The moment I walked down the aisle and looked up and saw my parents looking at me.. that look on their face still brings joyful tears in my eyes

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
