Maharani Vineeta, on how she met the Raja of her dreams, Vikash:

"Vikash and I met in January 2011 through some friends. We clicked immediately and exchanged BBM pins. We made plans to meet up for dinner later that month and made a bet on a football game, loser pays for dinner. Needless to say, I won and enjoyed my company even more. I knew he was the one within weeks of dating, we spent endless nights talking on the phone and texting one another all day everyday!"

On Vikash's proposal:

"Our proposal was like a winter wonderland! Vikash insisted we go to see the fireworks show in Astoria Park, in the middle of February, I should have suspicion then! I drove there with a friend and the park was completely empty. Vikash dragged me up hills and stairs which overlooked the NYC skyline. Before I knew it, he had asked me to look at something and when I turned around, he was on one knee, ring in hand and our best friends holding up a huge sign not too far away "Vineeta, Marry me!." After the shock, all of our friends and family started pouring out from random areas where they have been hiding and witnessed our proposal."

On what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:

"The shopping! I went to India with my mother in law and just went crazy! We got all of my outfits custom made, ordered jewelry and did the same for my bridesmaids. It was a crazy 10 days but it was well worth it!"

On choosing her wedding lenghas:

"I had dreamt of my wedding since I was a little girl. I spent a lot of time on Pinterest (who doesn't love that site!) but knew the best way to see what I really loved and what looked good on me was to go and try on outfits. I tried a ton on in NY before going to India and getting my perfect dress made for me."

On her hair and makeup:

"I worked with Tena who did my hair and makeup for all of my wedding events and our engagement party and engagement shoot. From the get-go, Tena always made me feel comfortable and listened to what I wanted, we also had a great time laughing and giggling with one another. I knew the styles I wanted for my hair for our events and makeup, I trusted Tena to work her magic and that she did!"

See you in a bit for some ceremony moments that you won't want to miss!
