Happy Thursday, my dears! It's not every day we get to see a Maharani style with a vintage, flapper flare, which makes today's Indian bride and her wedding celebration a seriously delightful treat! The fabulous event planners from RB Event Design planned this stunning affair in The Big Easy, and it was all gorgeously captured by Followell Fotography. We're starting our foray into these festivities with a look at the happy couple's sangeet at the New Orleans Board of Trade, where Prashe Decor worked some sublime decor details! Newlyweds-to-be, Serena and Ajay, are turning up the shaadi dial with some incredible pre-wedding fun, and today's beautiful bride is looking divine in her sangeet lengha! The blue and champagne ensemble is simply breathtaking. Her tunic is beautifully detailed, and her pants are a divinely constructed creation with a mermaid-like cut and elegant lace. We are so in love with her look! She even rocked a flapper-style updo with a jeweled hairband that was perfectly placed! Opening Minds Entertainment spun some unforgettable tunes for her and her hubby-to-be to party the night away to, and they'll also be back for some major reception fun later today at the JW Marriott New Orleans! Before we can get to those exquisite post-ceremony details, we'll be reveling in all the most extraordinary wedding wonders from Serena and Ajay's main event, next! Before we do, check out more of the sangeet in the complete gallery!

Maharani Serena on her fabulous pre-wedding style:

"When I saw the Sangeet outfit on a mannequin, I KNEW I had to have it. The mock turtleneck and Sharara style pants somehow felt so perfect for an all out dancefest. In fact I had a friend come up to me during the sangeet saying "This outfit screams Serena to me!"

The venue, New Orleans Board of Trade, was truly the New Orleans style venue I was looking for, something with history and character. It's a restored historic building, which happened to be a commodity trading floor up until 1960. I started my career in the world of commodities trading, so thought it would be the perfect place to hold pre-wedding celebrations! From the beautiful ceiling mural to the courtyard with the cast iron facade, I knew this would be the perfect place to welcome our guests with that New Orleans flair!"
