Occasions by Shangri-La has set a new level of expectations for our spoiled South Asian wedding-obsessed minds! The outdoor mandap they created for our next Indian bride and groom, Ani and Jainan, will blow you away! Jason Avery Films captured and edited this beautiful film at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island in Florida, and every element we saw left us in a state of wedded bliss. The adorable duo of the hour called on All That Shines to plan their big day, and WeGoDisco to make the celebrations extra unforgettable. SP Bridal Services made sure the blushing bride looked her absolute best, and styled her hair and makeup to Princess perfection. Make sure to watch to the very end for some serious laughs from Raja Jainan!

Maharani Ami, on her wedding style:

"My wedding theme was "sunrise, sunset". Jainan and I spent our first date at the same hotel we got married at walking on the beach, and ever since then walking on the beach watching a sunrise or a sunset has always been a key part of our relationship. I worked countless hours with Remmal from Occasions by Shangri-La to make this vision a reality for our wedding and reception. We went with sunrise colors for our mundup (gold with some hints of orange, pink and purple) and for the reception he designed a stunning sunset backdrop and we went with both blue and gold tablecloths for the tables to encompass the ocean waves. For the centerpieces we wanted some darker colors to represent the sun setting so we went with dark purples, maroon, hot pink and orange. It all came together so perfectly and I could not have been happier when I stepped in the room for the first time that night!"

On what she enjoyed most about planning her dream Indian wedding:

"Going to India and shopping for my dream outfits as well as seeing all of my extended family was by far my favorite part. I had not gone to India for over 20 years and honestly had always put off a trip knowing i would go someday to do my wedding shopping so when that time finally came and I was able to go with both my parents I was beyond excited and emotional. It was a whirlwind trip or getting everything done in less than 15 days but I got everything I needed and it all came out perfectly."

On shopping for her wedding fashions:

"Tradition is very important to me and I knew I wanted to wear a traditional Gujarati sari for my wedding. I went to Mumbai to do all of my wedding shopping and I bought my wedding sari from the same store that my mom bought her wedding sari at over 40 years ago! I am lucky that I have a lot of family in India that has a lot of connections in Indian clothing and fashion so from the moment I landed I was able to hit the ground running and get all of my shopping, my husband's shopping and shopping for my entire family done in just over two weeks!"

On her most memorable wedding moment:

"Planning an outdoor wedding always brings on an added level of stress, because no matter how much you plan everything you just can not control mother nature! I loved every minute of my actual wedding ceremony, not only because everything was perfect and exactly what I always dreamed of but also because it didn't rain and we got to have the wedding outside in front of the ocean! The most magical moment to me was when we were going around the fire and I remember looking out at the crowd and seeing the sun shining and thinking how did I get so lucky?"

We're only half way through the day, so stick around for plenty more wedding wonders!
