Happy Wednesday, Maharanis! Chrstina Chico of Chico Photo is at again, taking worthwhile wedding pics and sharing all the delightful details with us! We're so excited to be shining a spotlight on this captivating Indian wedding in Southern California, planned and designed by the spectacular team at Bridal & Event Lounge, that she covered this summer, today! Let's start off with some fun-tablulous details from the pre-wedding mehndi party and meet blushing bride-to-be, Puja, as she sits down with henna artist, Vaishali Gordan, for a mehndi session that yields breathtaking results. Dressed in an aqua and black open-shirted lengha with glamorous gold details, our irresistibly charming Indian bride dazzles from head to toe. Beauty expert Nida Gazi, of Beauty By NG, flawlessly finished Puja's pre-wedding hair and makeup, and it's clear to see that aside from her pretty face, this beautifully dolled up bride has a personality that shines through in each and every frame! Later today, we'll be getting an exclusive look at her wedding day details, where we'll meet the Raja of her dreams, Mithil (who baraat'd his way in true Maharaja style via horseback thanks to the fabulous folks at Enchanted Carriages), check out their unforgettable wedding ceremony and celebrate in the most divine floral and decor details at their elegant reception! For now, head into the complete gallery for more from this magnificent mehndi party!

Maharani Puja on her quirky wedding style:

"My wedding style was a bit cooky and fun!!! I wanted to do something different than just the norm! I wanted to focus on adding myself into every event!!! Making people laugh and say...Oh man..that's totally Puja! For every event I made sure to have a caricature of myself and Mithil! Which everyone loved. Pinterest was my inspiration! I wanted my haldi ceremony to be woody theme with an Indian touch! Garba night, I wanted to make old school Rajasthani, Dhaba style with all the colors possible!!! Very vibrant and loud!! All the signs for the food were made by a friend who is amazing at digital work!"

On her hair and makeup:

"Angie Vaca did hair and make up my pre-wedding events. I told her to work her magic for hair and make up, all I told her if I wanted my hair up or down, and man did she deliver on each pre- wedding event! I felt like a princess!!! I got so many compliments about my hair and make up! You need her has a platinum vendor if she's not one already! She was so nice, made me feel super comfortable and she on time with all 3 events!"

Meet me back here later today for the most gorgeous getting ready moments and first look portraits — plus meet the wedding party!
