Vicki and Kishan meet up with Events Capture for a fabulous photo shoot showcasing their colorful reception fashion! And get this ladies, our Maharani has not one but two reception lenghas! What's a girl to do, and why choose when you can have both?! For the cocktail hour, Vicki goes with a dazzling royal blue number that looks amazing with her skin-tone. And then, for the post bash, she changes into an elegant two-toned gown. This girl is definitely a fashionista! And making sure she looks flawless in every ensemble, is KC Makeup by Karuna Chani giving our bride classic makeup and a charming side pony. Dipping her oh-so-carefully is her handsome new hubby looking sharp in a black suit with coral bow-tie! Everyone looks so stylish! Feed your fashion fix by seeing even more portraits in the gallery!
From the bride, on the hair and makeup:
"I wear make-up but I wasn’t as familiar with what is appropriate. But I had seen the work of Karuna Chani of KC Makeup on two of my closest friends and she transformed them into beautiful brides. I knew I wanted to work with her from the very beginning. At my consultation we prepared two looks but on my wedding day, when she saw the last dress she thought old Hollywood would be more appropriate. I couldn’t be happier how things turned out. She was also a ton of fun to hang out with and made me feel at ease the entire day."
On the lenghas:
"I had created multiple Pinterest boards and spent hours online looking and had a vague idea as to what I wanted but all that went away when I went to India. I knew I wanted something very traditional for the wedding but something completely out of the box for the reception. I bought 1 wedding dress but 3 reception dresses because I couldn’t make the decision myself. My husband and I love cocktail hour and we had extended our cocktail hour so we knew we wanted to be a part of it, however, I also did not want to reveal my outfit. So I wore the blue lengha for cocktail and then the gown that was the pinnacle of the theme as the final dress."
