On a warm autumn day, our spotlight couple—Nirmala and Ian, have their Hindu-Jewish fusion wedding on the luscious lawns of Full Moon Resort in New York!  Amongst a whimsical one hundred-acre wonderland of mountains, fields and streams, this sweet outdoor ceremony is held under a quant mandap-chuppa, courtesy of Catskill Flower Shop. Our lovebirds say their I do's under birched branches coupled with romantic floral arrangements of pink and ivory roses. Petronella Photography wonderfully captures all the great moments and rituals of this magical affair, which brings the two cultures together in religious harmony! I love the closing shot of the pair as they walk down the aisle—hand in hand, as man and wife! Catch more of these captivating nuptials in the gallery!

From the bride, on the wedding style:

"Our inspiration came from a Fall trip to the Catskills. We absolutely enjoyed our mini vacation in the mountains. The disconnection with busy city life and the warm rustic charm sold us. We began researching wedding venues in the area and wanted to share the experience with our guests. Full Moon Resort was the first wedding venue we visited and the last. It was the perfect place for us."

On what she enjoyed most:

"The most enjoyable aspect of the planning process were the "adventures" Ian and I got to share; from DIYing  escort cards, to visiting a flower farm. We will both admit wedding planning is not all fun but it was worth every ounce of energy we put into our special day."
