Romance at Qutub Minar by G+H Photography

We've all heard "Eat, Love, Pray," and a trip to India is never complete without one of those!  Of course, Indian weddings are filled with food, lots of love and blessings-- and perhaps that's why weddings truly are the epitome of Indian culture!. So, now while we are here in New Delhi, let me introduce you to the Qutub Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret! What makes this ancient architectural wonder even more magnificent is the Bollywood, filmy style romance captured oh, so beautifully here by G+H Photography!

Congratulations to Maharani Shradha and her Maharaja, Pranav!
P.S. I definitely just caught the travel bug big time!  And if you still can't get enough, be sure to check out their black and white photos at The India Gate on the Maharani Weddings Facebook Fanpage!

Bright New Delhi Indian Wedding by G+H Photography

This is one picturesque Indian wedding, so let me just give you a heads up right now.  You might want to consider grabbing a tissue or two or three for these uber-romantic, lovey-dovey photos by G+H Photography!  What got me dabbing my eyes was the image of the sindhoor, which is a red or red-orange colored powder applied to the hairline of a woman.  In Indian culture, this is the mark of a married woman and single women do not wear this special red powder.  The red sindoor is significant for the married woman as she full of color and full of life!  And, this is exactly what I see in Maharani Shradha!  She is truly glowing and is looking absolutely divine in her gorgeous red and gold lengha with hints of deep green. I love how no matter how hard she tries... I can always spot that little hidden smile full of joy!

How awesome are those pattakas (fireworks) of celebration right there?  Yup, this wedding is literally bursting with happiness and joy!
But it's not over yet! Stay right there for more New Delhi delight!

New Delhi Haldi and Mehndi by G+H Photography

Good Morning Maharanis!  I hope you're ready to go on a trip... half-way across the world with me!  Pack your bags, because today we are going all the way to New Delhi, India!  Which reminds me...Here's a shout out to you Maharanis who were tweeting to us from India earlier this week!  As you know, the Maharani HQ is in San Francisco, but I promise, none of us will have to sit on a plane for 24 hours or wait hours for a connecting flight for this one.  One look at these gorgeous photos of Maharani Shradha and Pranav's Wedding by G+H Photography, and trust me: you'll be feeling all the authentic sounds, feelings and sights of our lovely bharat mahaan (Incredible India)!

Ahh... India.  Let's take a quick break to re-fill our chai, grab a few more Parle-G cookies, maybe make a quick aloo paratha... just don't forget to meet back here soon!
