We love weddings where one would be hard pressed to find a moment where the bride and groom aren’t enjoying themselves, and Pooja & Rajiv’s was exactly the kind. We’re still soaking in the gorgeous stills by Manish & Sung Photography! A plane splashed the words “Jai Mata Di Congrats Pooja & Rajiv #Poojiv”, across the sky (literally), marking the start of the wedding grandeur. Madan Madi kickstarted the ceremony, officiated by Shastri Vinay Kumar Ji, with Dhol beats during the Baraat, where Rajiv entered on a horse, courtesy of Equishare Baraat Horses. Rangoli Weddings decked up the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson with a blush-and-blossoms mandap in hues of pale pink and roses. The venue was special to the couple who got engaged by the Hudson River as well! The standalone Bukhara Grill treated guests to signature, novel delicacies. Glitz and glamour were recurring themes at this wedding bash, as directed by the couple. “We designed a Vogue magazine cover for our Save The Date and I designed our mandap with colorful flowers, where I danced after getting married!” Pooja made a grand entrance in a coral pink ostentatious lehenga set, and we loved how bold, statement jewelry took center stage in her look. Hair and makeup by Beauty by Tamanna ensured that Pooja looked every bit like a cover girl! Rajiv looked debonair in a color-coordinated brocade sherwani set, finished with gold embroidery. Light Year Studio did full justice with their detail-oriented cinematography, given the plethora of aspects to cover! It was evident that the planner, Sonal J Shah Events, handpicked a dream team, because this outdoor wedding was enveloped in rich, traditional goodness that all just blended together. Head to the gallery with us, and check out this stunning wedding!
