Welcome back, ladies! Photo Sutras brings us a colorful collection of images from Rubina's & Shekhar's Indian reception that takes place at The Ranch Golf Club in San Jose, California. We start off with stunning pre-reception portraits of the dashing couple. Maharani Rubina looks breathtaking in her turquoise & gold lengha sari, which sparkles luminously in the dead of night. The man of her dreams, Shekhar, looks very debonair in his tailored black suit. The opening shot of the couple is beautiful. They both look so peacefully in love, it's like they forgot the camera was even there. Oh and ladies, did you catch the festive cake-toppers on that turquoise & gold three-tier cake by Let Them Eat Cake! They are an exact replica of the couple in their reception fashionNeeta's Mehendi worked with the cake designer to incorporate that intricate design on the cake. Guests were lucky enough to feast on the scrumptious stylings of the one & only Milan Catering, who are the masters of great tasting & unique Indian cuisine! To keep everyone thoroughly entertained, the highly renowned Joya Kazi Unlimited dazzled and delighted with a heartpounding performance! And when they weren't spectating in amazement, DJ Preet had the guests out of their seats and on to the dance floor all night long. And finally, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention some wise words from Rubina, she says, "At the end of the day, everyone is happy for you, so sit back and enjoy the day. No one will remember the things that went wrong. No one will even know them." Now ladies, that is some sound advice. Relive this memorable day from the very beginning in the gallery!

From the bride, on special moments:

On the special moments:

"I think every event was magical. My decorator did an amazing job and transformed the space into how I had envisioned. For me, personally the sangeet was the favorite event. However, on the wedding day I vividly remember the pheras and sitting in the doli. At the reception, when Shekhar and I entered, we could feel the love and energy. It was amazing. Everyone present was happy for us."

On the first dance:

"Shekhar and I mixed a few songs together. We started with the introduction from Shania Twain, "From This Moment." Then it went to "Tum hi ho," from Ashiqui 2, and ended with Bruno Mars, "Just The Way You Are."

Additional details:

"I would def love to mention my mehndi lady. She was amazing to work with. I told her all things things I loved and would like to see as a part of my mehndi. She did it all and more. She personalized my mehndi by adding the characters we came up with to the designs. She even worked with my cake lady and did the mehndi design on the cake. It was amazing. My cake lady was also extremely good to work with. We had a lot of restrictions with the cake and she accommodated everything."

Hope you enjoyed this wedding!
