How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
The poem below sums up how I knew he was the one!

I don’t know how you are so familiar to me—or why it feels less like I am getting to know you and more as though I am remembering who you are. How every smile, every whisper brings me closer to the impossible conclusion that I have known you before, I have loved you before—in another time, a different place, some other existence - Lang Leav

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We went on a vacation to LA and he popped the question on the beach in Santa Monica, when I saw my ring I was thinking WOW - how did he get it so right? I also realized why he was acting so weird on our travels to LA, he thought customs was going to bust his whole proposal.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I did have a color in mind, but being from Austin, TX. I didn't have much to choose from. So then came the long(3hr one way) drive to Houston so we could shop for wedding attire(my poor husband drove both ways and spent most of the day in his car while we shopped - also how I know he is the one). Eventually, I had to settle for both saree and lengha since I was exhausted with driving back and forth and shopping every weekend for 2 months or so. It did all work out in the end though.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The smile on my mothers face is something I will never forget. She was the happiest I have ever seen her. There was a lot of love in the room.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Yes, take a honeymoon!!! And take it as soon as possible, planning a wedding is exhausting and you really need to have that break and downtime with your new special someone.

Don't forget to keep on checking our wedding posts, ladies, more every day!
