Hello ladies, you have no idea how excited I am to share the insanely cute wedding film that David N. Sachs shot during the magnificent union of Malika and Vivek in the vibrant city of San Francisco! These young lovebirds gathered numerous friends and family members from different corners of the world to join them to celebrate their big traditional nuptials. These two kicked off their festivities with a big sangeet at the splendid Villa Ragusa and carried on with the fun at the exclusive Ritz Carlton San Francisco. This exceptional venue overflowed with classy décor details created by Aesthetika Events for the sweet ceremony and following reception! The charming Malika was the star of the day with a bold and gorgeous look for the ceremony and a glamorous evening look for her soiree which the bridal specialist Artistry by Christal created for her. Check out all the ceremonies, heartfelt speeches and bubbly dance performances animated by DJ Salim in the charming highlight footage below!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
I have always been a very curious person, but the one thing I wanted in my proposal was for it to be a complete surprise! My husband was tasked with this almost impossible ask, but he executed it perfectly! I was told we were going to his coworkers reception in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco so we had to dress up for the event. I was suspicious at first but then I knew that his mom was in India and my brother was also not in the area so it couldn't be this weekend. We arrived for the party early and walked around the park - taking pictures and just having a good time! We approached this open grassy field with a white tent setup. He took me onto the field and got down on one knee! Suddenly, a huge group of our family and friends emerged from the tent and I was SHOCKED! I was so speechless that I couldn't even "Say Yes" when he asked me the question! The rest of the day was filled with my favorites people and pastries in the park, dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in the city and a night out in San Francisco!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I was very particular about my bridal lengha and had something very specific in mind. I wanted the traditional red color but also wanted to have a modern twist to it. Luckily, my mom had a good friend in India who was a designer, and I was able to work closely with her to design my own lengha! I have always been a fan of contrasting colors in Indian clothes and I wanted to incorporate this into my wedding outfit as well so I thought the pop of yellow in my second chunni would add a touch of brightness and put my own flair on the dress. The final product was stunning and I got so many compliments throughout the day!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
There were so many memories that I still think about from that weekend but my absolute favorite moment were the last two songs at our reception during the open dancing! The dance floor was PACKED even though it was almost midnight and my husband and I were having the time of our lives with all our favorite people! It honestly felt like we were on the set of a big bollywood movie and everyone was jamming out and having a blast just celebrating the two of us! Those two songs were truly surreal and I still get goosebumps when I think about how much I was enjoying myself dancing my heart out!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Enjoy your wedding day to the fullest and don't stress about the little details throughout the day! You have put so much time and effort into the whole event that you don't want to let one little mixup ruin it!
This was one piece of advice I got prior to my wedding day and I tried to follow it as much as I could! Leading up to the wedding, I was extremely particular about what I wanted. We planned the wedding for over a year so when the weekend came, I gave up all responsibilities! I let things flow how they were meant to be and it led to an absolute dream weekend! We even had a slight mixup with our first dance song during the reception but we didn't let that bother us. It eventually got figured out and we had a smile on our face throughout it all! Your wedding weekend is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity and you don't want to let the little details ruin that!
