To complete the charming imagery of today’s Platinum Guide Blog, Epique Cinema brings us another angle of the fantastic beginning of Farah and Salim’s journey as a married couple through a beautiful highlight film, I’m sure you will love it! The wedding weekend was a dream come true, from a vivacious Mehndi at the bride’s home to a fun Pithi and concluding with a colorful Sangeet, all events were perfectly captured by Vek Photo. In a solemn Nikkah ceremony followed by traditional games the union was official and for this special day, Maharani Farah cleverly wore a lovely Panache by Sharmeen design. To mark the occasion, the couple opted to book the grand Hilton Dallas/Plano Granite Park. The gorgeous venue went under a magical makeover with the creative lightning tricks of DJ Riz Entertainment and the exquisite backdrops and décor of Wedding Decor By Faiza. See from the couple’s first engagement footage to the incredible final celebration in the charming film below!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Surprisingly, I had no idea what I wanted. I went to a designer in Houston who sells wedding outfits, tried on two outfits and immediately knew the second one was the one I wanted to wear for my reception.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Being able to work as a team with my husband to plan out our entire wedding weekend. Everything from the big, overarching items that needed to be done all the way to the small little details - we worked as a team like never before and it brought us closer together.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
They all LOVED our food - not only the reception night but the Pithi/Sangeet night, too. We still get guests coming up to us praising the food that we had. My husband and I are huge foodies so that was our #1 item we worked extra hard to ensure was just perfect.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Honestly, I can't choose one special moment from that weekend - each day was so special and unique in its own way. I've watched our wedding highlight video at least a hundred times just to replay that entire weekend. The love, happiness, and support I felt were so strong and the video definitely reflects that.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
I'm so thankful we had a little less than a year to plan our wedding. I feel like I'd drive myself, my family and my husband, crazy if we had more time. The planning will never end. But at the end of the day, the wedding will come together and be the most beautiful weekend of your life.

Enjoy endless tips to boost your wedding inspiration in our next film tomorrow!
