She said, “Try to spend the first month engaged just enjoying this special time together! That was the best advice we received. We were able to enjoy that honeymoon period of just getting engaged and even went on a trip to Costa Rica to celebrate. It's truly a unique time for any couple to celebrate taking this huge step together. From there, book any "must-have" vendors ASAP to make sure they can be available for your big day. I would also suggest spending the money and getting a wedding day videographer. It seems like an extra expense, but it is one of the most special keepsakes you can have!” Such wise words.
