Itasca, IL Wedding by Old North Film Company

Happy Monday Maharanis! Today's video by Old North Film Company instantly lifted our spirits, because it featured such a happy couple and non-stop dancing! We were immediately struck by how much fun everyone was having, from the excited bridal party to the numerous reception performers! Angela and Chirag's wedding took place in Itasca, IL, at the grand Westin Chicago Northwest Hotel. While dapper Chirag and his smiling groomsmen led a spirited baraat on the grounds of the hotel, Maharani Angela was adorning herself in pristine hair and makeup by Nicki Hala and a beautifully hued seafoam and magenta lehenga. Planning and design by Dream Occasions was impeccably done, with the ceremony hall completely decked out in soft lavender and champagne draping and floral arrangements. After the emotional ceremony, the couple took gorgeous portraits with Rastall Photography - they looked stunning and so in love! Next, they entered their lit-up reception hall - we love the idea of LED tree decor and a flashing LED dance floor! It added so much exciting energy to the already elated atmosphere, and resulted in such cool footage! Angela and Chirag's reception program was incredible, featuring so many hilarious and touching videos, dancing, and speeches. This film ends with slow-mo shots of guests raging on the dance floor to music by DJ Kollision. Check out the full video below!

Angela and Chirag’s wedding was definitely one to remember! We followed them for literally an entire day and the culture, family and love that I witnessed left me in awe.

The day blasted off with some awesome fun as Chirag prepared with his many groomsmen, all of who never stopped smiling, which lead them to a fun-packed traditional baraat as Angela got her make-up and hair done. The baraat was followed by a beautiful Indian ceremony that was full of vibrant colors and enthusiastic family. After the early morning ceremony, Angela and Chirag participated in a meeting of the families where they played traditional games followed by gorgeous bridal party portraits. We worked alongside the wonderful Michael Rastall Photo for a beautiful session outdoors at the Westin Chicago Northwest.

We then got ready again for the reception where Chirag and Angela changed into their awesome outfits for the night to come. The night was filled with hilarious videos and skits done by their bridal party as well as entertaining, smooth choreographed dance numbers with sweet and emotional speeches from family and friends. The night was topped off with some fantastic dancing on an incredible light-up dance floor! I’d never seen anything like it and it made for some great footage.
