Wow! Our heads and hearts are spinning as we try to process Raazia and Shafi’s magnificent South Asian reception soiree. The festivities took place in the ballroom at the Oakbook Doubletree, which is a gorgeous, spacious hotel. However, as all floral and decor aficionados know, you can take any venue from beautiful to out of this world extraordinary when you enlist the talents at Amer Design Studio. And that’s exactly what Amer Design Studio accomplished when they transformed the elegant quarters to resemble the most romantic, luxurious palace you’ve ever imagined. The color scheme was red and gold, which we believe is one of the richest combos you can choose for a reception celebration. Tons of drapings, candles, crystals, and candelabras transported guests to a luxurious oasis filled with wonder and excitement. Not to be outdone by the decor. Maharani Raazia and her Raja Shafi made their grand entrance looking as enchanted as ever. She wore a glitzy burgundy lehenga with a sweeping train, while he wore a gold encrusted sherwani and matching turban. So fab! To kick off the evening, they duo cut gigantic cake with endless layers.
