A wedding so rich in color and detail almost always foreshadows an equally phenomenal reception, and with Charmi Pena Photography to cover it all, we knew we were in for a visual treat! Nirupama and Athmeya’s reception was hosted at the NYU Rosenthal Pavilion, that overlooks Washington Square and offers stunning Fifth Avenue skyline views. Believe us when we say that purple lighting has never looked this good! Three Notch Floral designers Cara and Kate's expertise with decor clearly did the magic. The artistic tablescape featured lovely red roses and purple blossoms in antique gold vases with floral inspired centerpieces. Athmeya paired his striking blue suit with a pink tie that matched Nirupama’s ornate pink reception lehenga by Aneesh Aggarwal, from Aza Fashions. Bridal Gal styled Nirupama’s hair in a loose side knot, adorned with pearl strings that were an extension of our Maharani’s earrings. From the looks of it, DJ Shilpa entertained the guests through and through, and succulent Indian cuisine from Bhatti Grill, Kitchen3N's cake kept the guests satiated.
