Hello, Maharanis! Today we've got a dazzling Indian wedding to share with you, superbly planned by Artistic Affairs Inc.! We're at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson, where today's beautiful bride, Shweta, is getting ready for her unforgettably fabulous Indian wedding, and Charmi Pena Photography expertly captured every moment! To make sure she looked the loveliest, the incredible team at BridalGal created a flawless, natural makeup look that highlighted the Indian bride's beautiful features while still making her look like herself. They also gave her a majestic braided updo! Then, it was time for the Maharani to put on her dazzling cream colored bridal lengha by Mumbai-based designer Sunanda Shah. To complete her elegant look, the blushing Indian bride added glittering gold jewelry and a pair of heels by Christian Louboutin! See more of the dazzling details in the full gallery!

Maharani Shweta on her wedding style:

"My wedding style was inspired by NYC and natural elements. My Mandap was tones of all yellows as I didn't want bright distracting colors to take away from the NYC skyline and the Hudson river. The overall look was simple and ethereal. For example, all my bridesmaids held a single hydrangea, instead of massive bouquets. I did not have any flowers walking down the aisle with my two brothers, but rather had a parasol with fresh real flowers attached to it - which my younger brother held over me. The reception style was inspired by my outfit - romantic, soft but fun with a little bling. I loved all the candles everywhere!"

On her favorite part of planning:

"I enjoyed putting the personal touches into our wedding. For example, we had a sign throughout the hotel - it was a cute cartoon my cousins had drawn of me and Sagar holding red balloons floating away above the NYC skyline. I also love to DIY - so I ended up doing a lot of crafting for my Sangeet and Mehndi."

See Elegant Affairs Inc.'s magnificent mandap at the ceremony next, and later we'll have Shilpa Entertainment at the reception!
