It's Priya and Rohan's time under the Maharani spotlight in honor of their amazing Indian wedding in Milford, Massachusetts. The talented Studio Nine Photography + Cinema gets us all excited with awesome shots from the sangeet celebration at the DoubleTree by Hilton. Our soon-to-be-bride is oh-so vibrant in her blue and fuchsia lengha choli as she shows off her moves on the dance floor. To make sure he looks the part, Rohan is styling and profiling in a dynamic navy and gold sherwani. They make a lovely pair, and it looks like a lot of fun was had judging by the men's performance in chunnis! Stay tuned because the wildly popular Henna Cafe not only does Priya's mehndi for the pre-wedding festivities, but also the wedding and reception! From the bride, on the proposal:

"Rohan proposed on September 5th, 2015, which was my 27th birthday. For my birthday, we had plans to go home to my hometown of Milford, MA to visit family. There was a lot of family in town for the weekend with folks visiting, so we decided to make the trip since it was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday. Rohan said he wanted to take me out to a birthday lunch with just the two of us and then we would be able to meet up with the rest of the family. He blind-folded me and took me to such a romantic location. Earlier that summer, I had wanted to take Rohan to a picnic that I attend in Milford, MA every year since I was in highschool. We weren't able to go earlier that summer, and Rohan knew how bummed I was about it. So, he decided to recreate the entire event with our own private picnic in this beautiful gazebo in the same location. The entire time, I thought it was such a sweet gift for my birthday. At the end of the lunch, Rohan read me a deep and touching note and then finally got down on one knee! I had no idea until he showed me later, but the box that had the ring in it had a video camera built in so he was able to capture the entire moment which is so special and we will cherish forever! Rohan was originally planning to propose later that year in November during a trip we had planned to Italy. My entire family thought that was when he would be proposing. He decided to move up the date when he knew how much family would be around during my birthday, and he knows how important family is to me. The best part is that he did not tell ANYONE else that he was planning to move up the date so it was such a beautiful surprise for everyone, especially my parents and brother."

The first look photo shoot is next!
