How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We meet through family friends early 2014. The groom was completing his orthopedic residency training in upstate NY and I was completing my dental training in south FL. The minute we meet, we could not handle the distance apart and by our second date, we were head over heels with one another. With all the snow and love in the air, he shared his first "I love you" at the Buffalo airport. The rest is history.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
A beautiful and unforgettable proposal was coordinated abroad in Switzerland!! The soon to be fiancé had not only selected a gorgeous ring but also a beautiful destination to propose spending the rest of our lives together. Just as he had proposed to a relationship one month after meeting each other with a beautiful Louis Vuitton purse asking if I would be his girlfriend at the largest waterfall in North America, Niagara Falls; he surprised me with a trip to the Swiss Alps to ask me at the top of Europe and Switzerland's largest waterfall, Rhine Falls if I would be his wife forever,

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
With my final year of Dental school, wedding planning was one of the last priorities, unfortunately. However, since my husband had more family and friends to accommodate for the wedding, we decided to have the wedding in sunny Southern California at the time St. Regis Monarch Beach which has now transformed into Monarch Beach Resort. With the help of his local immediate family we were able to coordinate and contact with some highly recommended vendors such as Square Root Designs, Lin and Jirsa Photography, Pink Rock Events, Robles Video Productions, Oscar Naranjo Makeup, Manohar Delhi Palace, DJ Sandeep Kumar, and pleasant surprise guest Magic Johnson at the wedding ceremony

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
An Indian wedding is incomplete without the vibrant red. The red color symbolizes our goddess who is revered for valor, strength, and prosperity. Therefore my wedding dress was in a gorgeous red and gold embroidery and completed with beautiful reception dresses from The Frontier Heritage in Southern California. My closest friends and family were adorned in some of my favorite colors with a yellow saree contrasted with peachy pink bridesmaid bouquets.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The FOOD!! We loved all the food tastings, but more importantly my fiancé then and husband now enjoyed all the little moments together leading up to our big FAT memorial weekend Wedding.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Three years later we continue to hear about all the fun everyone had from food to décor and dancing. We could not be any happier than to spend this special time with all our closest family and friends. We are truly grateful to share this special occasion and memories.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Walking down a beautifully adorned aisle in 5-inch heels with a heavy bridal lengha and jewelry to a gorgeously designed Mandap by Square Root Designs with floral arrangements surrounding a shimmering chandelier above my soon to be husband is never easy. That special moment though, everything suddenly feels light, right, and truly magical and it would not have been possible without our amazing team of vendors and bridal party!!!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
We started out the wedding festivities at the groom's Newport Coast home. Where fire shots, Jago, and mehndi lighted up an unforgettable wedding weekend. Our Sangeet was around the world style at the Huntington Hyatt Regency. With their high ceilings and Kumba Event Productions, we were able to bring a little taste of our favorite places. Our family and friends left memorable performances and fun photographs with an entertaining photo booth at the Sangeet!! We ended the wedding Ceremony with a reception that brought the glam and charm of the Cosmopolitan to Southern California with beautiful crystals and floral arrangements in my husbands favorite violet and purple hues. The Reception night never ended and we danced the weekend away with all our family and friends.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Enjoy every moment and don't worry over the little details. Everything always falls into place and the special memories that last forever are the moments and not the things we wear or create for the wedding.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
A picture is worth a thousand words and shares all the details we admired with our family and friends, therefore sharing photographs from our talented Southern California photographers, Lin and Jirsa.
