Our final film of the day was created by Imagique Weddings, and opens up on newlyweds, Jeana and Rajiv, as they share a post-ceremony dance in front of the most spectacularly designed and decorated sweetheart stage created by the uber talented team from SheerRomance. You'll see plenty of their incredible floral and decor work throughout the video, and we are certain every last detail from the dramatic ceremony aisle and mandap to the contemporary table decor will take your breath away. This beautiful Indian wedding film also highlights some memorable pre-wedding celebrations like the happy couple's sangeet at the Business Expo Center in Southern California, and of course, the ceremony and reception at the Hotel Irvine. There's major bridal fashion inspiration in the form of an exquisite red and gold wedding lengha, and the most divine blue and ivory reception ensemble. We love the mood lighting, by Special Occasions DJ & Lighting (who were also in charge of the evening's playlist and getting partygoers onto the dance floor) — you'll see what I'm talking about when Maharani Jeana and Raja Rajiv make their grand entrance into the post-ceremony ballroom! Also, take note that I heard from a little birdie that we'll be bringing you the amazing mages from this extraordinary event, captured by Global Photography, exclusively, so look out for those!

The bride, on how she met the Raja of her dreams:

"I met Rajiv on Thanksgiving! My uncle is married to his cousin, who hosted Thanksgiving dinner, and we were both there. We sat next to each other at dinner, and the rest is history. I knew he was the one when we went to Miami together for my uncle's 50th birthday party. He really fit in with my family, everyone loved him, and I wasn't nervous at all that he was there with my whole extended family!"

On her Raja's romantic proposal:

"Rajiv planned an awesome proposal (with help from one of my best friends) at Sand Harbor on Lake Tahoe. My friends and I had planned a trip to Tahoe in mid March to snowboard and hang out. We went down to the lake one day just to kind of explore and check it out. It was mid March, so there was snow on the mountains and it was just gorgeous. Rajiv got down on one knee and said some really romantic stuff, none of which I remember, and I said yes!"

On her wedding style:

"I really love elephants, so they were central in all of my wedding decor. I had my cousin design an elephant that was on all of our stationary, to save the date, the invitations, the program, the wedding thank you card, I even had a "Do not Disturb" sign made for our hotel guests with an elephant trunk! On the day of my garba, we had wooden elephants as center pieces, and at my wedding and reception I had floral elephants at the events.
I also really love the color purple, so that was definitely a color that I worked with on my wedding day. I knew I wanted to have an outdoor wedding, as Southern California weather really can't be beat. I was able to combine all of these ideas into the perfect wedding! For the reception, I wanted a really modern look with only whites, creams, and gold."

On choosing her dream wedding lenghas:

"I started choosing my lenghas by looking on Pinterest (a bride's best friend)! I knew that I wanted a lengha with big design, and I wanted it to be simple and elegant. I went to India with my parents to go shopping for my wedding lenghas, and my Mom told me that I wasn't allowed to buy anything on the first day, however; I am a quick shopper and found my wedding lengha on the first day! I loved it because it had small amounts of purple in it, so it fit my decor vision beautifully!
As for my reception, I knew I wanted something blue. It was another one of those moments that when I saw it, I knew it was the one. It also fit me perfectly and was super comfortable!"

On her and her Raja's first dance song selection:

"Rajiv and I danced to XO by Beyonce, but it actually wasn't by Beyonce! We really love the words and meaning of the song, but I wasn't really into the beat of Beyonce's original version. I was looking for covers of the song, when my cousin Shaan Patel, who plays the guitar, sent me a video of him performing the song! I loved it and the personal touch that it gave the song, so my cousin Shaan actually performed it live while we danced. He also did a little mash up, and put some Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in there."

On the role that family and friends played in making her dream day a reality:

"I have a lot of extended family in the Los Angeles area, and they were all a big help! But, a couple of things about the wedding stand out in my mind and I won't ever forget them. First, my aunt and uncle, who hosted Thanksgiving all those years ago when Rajiv and I met, threw me a wedding kick-off party that was "Southern California Casual" with a taco stand and margarita bar. It was a great way to kick off the wedding and super nice that there was an event my parents and I didn't have to plan! A different aunt and uncle also hosted a Sprinkles Cupcake stand at my mendhi party. It was super unique, delicious, and made for a perfect take home favor. Not to mention, I adore Sprinkles cupcakes."

On working with her vendors:

"My cake was from Creative cakes OC. It was seriously delicious, the whole process was super easy, and they are so creative! I follow them on Instagram, they have some amazing designs.
My wedding was at the fabulous Hotel Irvine. The staff there is amazing! They were so helpful and excited about my wedding, and they went out of their way to ensure all of our expectations were met and exceeded. I would definitely recommend them for an Indian wedding, they have the space, experience, and staff to get everything done.
Last but definitely not least, our officiant was amazing. Dilipbhai Bhatt (Or Dilip Uncle, as I call him) is an amazing man and his knowledge of Hinduism is astounding. Before the wedding, he met with my family multiple times to explain the Vedic tradition of marriage and what my parents, Rajiv, and I were actually promising to do during the marriage ceremony. The ceremony itself was perfect, short and to the point. Rajiv and I even got to write our own vows!"
