From the bride, on the wedding style:
"Considering our unique backgrounds (he is Japanese, I am Bangladeshi) , it was really hard to narrow down our wedding theme. We were both born and raised in California so we wanted to not only incorporate our cultures but also some OC flair. I always imagined myself in both the tradition American white wedding gown as well as the red Indian bridal gown so we decided the groom and wedding party would have two outfits as well! For color themes we incorporated our favorite colors, with our main color as purple and hints of green and gold. Thank goodness Desi weddings are meant to be colorful!"
On the venue:
"We picked the Nixon Library not only because it was such an unique venue with its replica of the White House's East Ballroom, Rose Garden, and Army One helicopter, but also because it had a special meaning to us as well. Our first high school dance as a couple took place at the Nixon Library almost ten years ago! Little did we know at the time that we would one day be getting married there also!"
On a special moment:
"The most romantic moment was during the ceremony where we read our own written vows to each other. It was as if the guests weren't even there, only us speaking from our hearts."
