Welcome back, Maharanis! Did you have a sensational New Year's Day? Let's kick off the new year with another unbelievable wedding from our Best of 2013 E-Magazine! How would you like to attend a lavish Indian wedding on a California country estate decked out in glittering golds and ruby reds? Me too! Lucky for us, Wedding Documentary Photo + Cinema is taking us to coastal Carmel where beaming bride Priya and her Raja Arun are preparing for a grand day of celebrating. The Last Resort is tending to our Maharani's beauty details, including her fabulous updo and shimmering shadow and wine-colored lip. I am loving this effortless style that so perfectly complements the rustic allure of the Holman Ranch. These sweet portraits capture the excitement of the day and I can't wait until we get to the exceptional ceremony and luxurious reception coming up next! Until these lovebirds are singing a song of matrimony, I'll be in the gallery

From the bride on their engagement: "I told Arun that I wouldn't wear an engagement ring so he got me an engagement puppy. It was a complete surprise. We walked over to a local park where we had one of our first dates. We were met there by Arun's brother and my best friend from college, and a puppy. Arun got down on one knee, held up the puppy (Cooper!) and ask me if I would marry him. What girl can resist puppy eyes?"

See you very soon for the regal finale of this spectacular event!
