I love our international Indian weddings, because there's always so much to learn! In South Africa, for example, Maharani Vera informed us that a "traditional" wedding reception with dancing doesn't follow a wedding. Instead, a lunch or dinner follows the ceremony, where guests greet and couple and then leave. While I love a good Indian wedding reception that parties well into the night, this is a great way to fast forward to the honeymoon, right Maharanis?
I love this lunch reception brought to us by Joy Light Photography, which has simple white and red table settings to contrast with the venue's turmeric-yellow walls. Events by Chetna helps outfit each table with a different centerpieces, playing with sculpture, design and height. And check out that lovely white wedding cake tied off on each layer with a bow -- just perfection!

Maharanis, make sure you come back tomorrow when we present our LATEST Maharani Weddings Destination E-magazine!
