You bet this Maharani, who has been planning this moment all her life, would have multiple dream venues for her Gujarat wedding! One of these establishments was The Cadre Building in the heart of downtown Memphis, where she threw a beautifully executed sangeet. Although the bride wanted to stick with tradition when it came to various poojas and ceremonies, she imagined a modern and contemporary design with themes for each event. The sangeet was decorated in deep fall colors with minimal furniture to ensure people could mingle, dance and eat while listening to live entertainment.
The Maharani's favorite part (and mine too!) are these pre-event photos where the couple saw each other for the first time during the wedding celebration...too cute! View these lovely photos from Tara Sharma Photography, and then read the Maharani's personal take on the couple's "first meeting."

More from Maharani Rupal: "The best part of this event was the pre-event photo shoot. It was during this photo shoot that Kush and I had our 'first meeting.' Even though he arrived the evening before when my mehndi was taking place, we had made the decision to wait until the Sangeet to see each other for the first time. Seeing Kush for the first time during our wedding weekend was such an amazing feeling; very surreal!"
Her enthusiasm is infectious! Let's see what she's got planned for us next...
