Good morning, Maharanis! We're at the half point of the week, so today I have an *extra* special Indian wedding to help you get through the mid-week slump! We're landing in Potomac, Maryland for a lovely traditional Hindu affair with a modern Indian reception. But before we get to that, we have to attend the garba, of course!
Photographick Studios takes us to this whirlwind wedding to meet Maharani Hetal and her hubby-to-be Divyang. The two lovebirds had been together for seven years, so when it was time for them to get married, Hetal knew exactly what she wanted: a wedding filled with tradition, love and personalized details.
The evening of the garba (held at Potomac's Julia Bindeman Hebrew Congregation Center) brought a ruckus celebration filled with garba and breaks for bhangra. I love the bright, happy colors of Maharani Hetal's decor, especially the individually created dandia sticks! Scroll through these amazing images to read all about what these lucky photographers got to witness.

More from Photographick Studios: "The evening brought family and friends together for a night of dancing, laughing and simply an all around good time. Friends and family danced, sang and gave speeches followed by raas, an impromptu dance set, garba and pure exhaustion. It seemed as if everyone was dancing, laughing, smiling and simply having an amazing time."
Next up: a lovely horseback baraat!
