I promised a smashing finish to this traditional Indian wedding, so here it finally is! These cuties met over Chinese food 2008, and as fate would have it they celebrated their newly married status this past July.  House of Talent was on deck at the New York Indian wedding to capture each and every moment, and SOSN Events made sure that all the details were seamless. It's the perfect way to kick off this Monday!

From our Maharani, Anuja :
On Friday, July 29, 2011, we had our wedding ceremony at the Watermill in Smithtown, NY and our wedding reception was held at Chateau Briand in Carle Place, NY.  On the morning of our wedding, I woke up and saw that it was raining very hard outside.  The ceremony was supposed to be outside so I didn’t know what to expect when I got to the wedding hall.  But when I arrived at the venue, I was very happy to see how beautiful and orderly everything was.  SOSN immediately greeted me at the door and took me where I needed to be. The SOSN team were working so hard to make sure that everything was on point.  When I was escorted into the mandap, I saw that Fern N Décor (suggested by SOSN) did a wonderful job on our mandap and décor of the ceremony.  Everything looked so elegant and beautiful.
Our ceremony was beautiful.  The pundit did a great job performing our ceremony; Sahil and I were so happy with the outcome of the whole event.  Afterwards, SOSN made sure that Sahil and I had a photography and videography session with all of our close friends and family.  House of Talent, our photographer and videographer did an amazing job with all of the pictures.  In the evening for our reception, I redid my hair and makeup and changed out of my red sari to my pink bridal lengha.  My makeup and hair artist, Farida Naseem, who was recommended to me by SOSN, did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for the ceremony and reception.  I was pleased with the two looks she provided me with.  Sahil changed out of his shervani into a tuxedo and bowtie.  Fern N’ Décor awed us again with the reception stage décor and flowers.  The SOSN team helped us set up our centerpieces and made sure that the décor of the room was flawless.  The food, which was catered by Tandoor, during cocktail hour and dinner was fantastic and the guests were enjoying it.  SOSN was there to help out and escort our guests to their tables and made sure that all the vendors were on the same page. Bollywood DJ’s DJ Amrit was playing a mix of Indian and American Dance music; everyone was on the dance floor.  The only responsibility we had that night was to be ready and show up.  We were so happy with the outcome of the wedding ceremony and reception.
Congrats to the adorable pair and we will see you all tomorrow!
